About us
House of Hanbury is the 3rd generation of Hanburys in the residential construction industry, and we bring that wealth of knowledge and experience to every job we do. Cutting corners or doing the job just good enough are not part of our vocabulary and we pledge to exceed the quality as described in the booklet 'Residential Construction Performance Guidelines'. We do stipulated fixed price contracts. We provide written estimates for insurance repair, possible new home purchase walk throughs for a nominal fee. We provide design services on all projects we build for a nominal fee applied to the construction price. We pull all permits on your behalf. We are a Certified Firm as required by the EPA and have 2 certified renovators on staff for Lead Paint Safe remodeling and repairs. We do historic renovation work with 3 West Hartford Historic Preservation awards to date. Bob Hanbury has the Certfied Graduate Remodeler, (CGR), designation from NAHB, held since 1989. Alan Hanbury Jr, has the CGR designation 1990, Certified Aging in Place Specialist (CAPS),designation 2003, Certified Green Professional, (CGP) designation in 2009 and Graduate Master Remodeler, (GMR) in 2010, one of only 25 in the country.
