Their design services were exceptional. After viewing our bathrooms they came up with several options they thought would work for us which were spot on. They also worked with us on a division of work, (we did demo, electrical and painting). Their work was professionally done, they suggested some modifications while work was ongoing and accommodated some minor changes we wanted. All in all good experience. They are not the cheapest contractor you will find however the old saying rings true, you get what you pay for.

We hired DreamMaker to completely redo our 12 year old kitchen-everything went, counters, cabinets, sink, appliances. They also reconfigured our opening between our kitchen and our great room. Final product was a total transformation. Process was professional the entire way. A rare combination of expert workmen coupled with low key and pleasant personalities! Management checked and doubled checked on the work on a regular basis. Highly recommend.

The electrician that they used and recommended has been removed from Angie's List due to work problems. His/their price for electrical turned out to be more than one thousand dollars more than their original estimate. They got around this because they made me pay him directly. Their installer turned out to be a subcontractor who had his good and bad days. When I complained they kept saying that he is an "award winning installer". He had to return4 or 5 times. Basement was left with mud and grout over a large area. The tiles were not installed well. The grouting and putty over the whirlpool had to be replaced three times. He popped a hole into the next room and refused to repair it until I made a formal complaint to the owner. We had leaks because the tub fixtures were not installed properly. The shower doors were over tightened and the turn knobs at the bottom cracked. It took almost a year to have things put right. The owner is too busy to be interested. He is busy building a showroom near the Berlin Turnpike in Newington. The only good thing about this company is the other person named Paul who is the designer. His work is excellent and if you really need something to be done, contact him. No one else listens.

DreamMaker did an excellent job on my kitchen.  Paul C the owner was very prompt in getting back to my email inquiry and meeting me at the shop.  I interviewed other kitchen companies but DM really had their act together and seemed like they were truly interested in the
job.  My designer, Paul D walked me through the selections and did a very nice layout/design.  My job was actually started sooner than they quoted and finished sooner.  I had a budget in the beginning but I quickly went over that which in the back of my mind I assumed I would do anyway.  Appliances and electric were not part of the DM cost. That was additional.  All the guys were pleasant and easy going, prompt and cleaned up each day.  They handled all inspections and permits,  which is what I needed with my busy schedule. I would highly recommend DM and have sent 2 more jobs their way due to referrals.  When I do my master bath, they will be the first ones I call.

Very well! Designer was personable and professional. Came up with a configuration for the kitchen that will be more efficient. Plenty of choices of materials for cabinets and flooring so you can customize the design to your tastes.

Design and materials selection went great...we spent part of a morning going over options and identifying materials.  Paul came out to the house late one afternoon to measure the area, and to make additional recommendations. We went back to their showroom the following week to finalize our choices and sign the contract-Paul was extremely professional, and made the process easy and less stressful than other vendors.  We scheduled the job for late February, but their schedule opened up earlier, and the job was started February 3.--the day after the Blizzard!  Don and Sean made it to the house mid morning, and 1st thing they did was to prep the area with drop cloths and rug protection, which they maintained thru out the entire job.  Given the snow that week and the constant traffic in and out of the front door, cleanliness was maintained as well as could be expected!  Demo the first day and tub installation, followed on subsequent days by plumbing and hardware install, tile install, fan/light install, new ceiling, tapeing, sanding, etc.  Don finished grouting and cleanup Friday afternoon.  Four Days!!!
My wife and I were pleased with the product, and the professionalism displayed by all the staff that we had contact with.  We would use DreamMakers in the future.

This was a complete, down to the studs, kitchen remodeling project, opening up 2 rooms into one and replacing the original late 70's kitchen in the home we had just purchased.  Paul at DreamMaker worked with us on several design iterations and came up with one that works great for us.  After a year of hosting many events we can say it functions great, not only as a working kitchen, but as a central gathering spot.
Their attention to detail and desire to "get it right" were evident throughout both the design and installation, sometimes to a fault.  We occasionally had to fight to do something a little more practical (and cheaper) than what they recommended.  We didn't get a built-in refrigerator or microwave, which they insisted would look so much better.
They presented a realistic schedule and stuck to it.  This was important both because we had to coordinate with other work going on in the house, and we had to live without a kitchen until they were done.

Dream maker following the design and sign-off by us, produced a detail project plan.  This plan was day-by-day schedule for a six week period.  Each day the task and the staff required to this task was listed.  This plan was adhered to the letter.  Project was completed a head of schedule.  Quality and workmanship far surpassed what we expected.
This was phase 1 of our remodel.  We have already contracted Dream maker on phase 2 of our remodel, the rest of our house.
Need we say anything more.

I wasn't sure where to start when I decided to remodel my kitchen, laundry room and master bath.  I found that DreamMaker Bath and Kitchen had a showroom and thought that would be a good start.
When I got there I was greeted by Paul D, the designer.  He
was extremely knowledgeable, patient and helpful.  I had never done this
before and needed all the help I could get.  He listened and knew
exactly what I needed and what I would like.  I knew it would be a
pleasure working with him.  He came out to my home took detailed
measurements and drawings and sent me an estimate.  I did get two more
estimates and they were in line with his, one was lower and one higher.
Paul went over every detail of the project, helping me
pick out every item.  He gently nudged me to abandon outdated ways and
brought me into the 21st century.  I am so glad he helped me in that
way.  He was truly just as excited about this project as I was.
When Don, Shawn and John came to do the work they were a
pleasure to have in my home.  They were masters of their craft, polite
and friendly.  Their work ethics were outstanding and they took pride in
every aspect of the project.  I was home during almost all of the work
and their upbeat demeanor and attention to every detail was a joy to
experience.
The project went smoothly and was completed on time.
The result was spectacular.  My rooms are now showplaces that I love.
I chose DreamMaker
Bath and Kitchen because of the exceptional experience I had with Paul
D. on that first meeting, and my confidence in the company was confirmed
by Don, John and Shawn who where outstanding.
I know I could not have had a better experience anywhere else.

We LOVED working with their designer, Tanja, on our kitchen project. She was patient, professional, and genuinely excited about our project. She was able to help me figure out what my 'style' was, and pull together a truly beautiful kitchen. She held my hand the entire process (something I truly needed because I have ZERO ability to design, decorate or choose colors that look good.) She accompanied me to the lighting store to choose the pendent lights, we visited several tile stores and finally worked out a custom tile design on our own, and she even went with my to choose the fixtures.) The workers that came were extremely professional, and every little issue that came up was quickly dealt with in a professional manner. (A leaky faucet was quickly fixed, minor damage to a cabinet door during install - the door was re-ordered before I even saw it - and when one of my stove burners was cracked from the installer inadvertently putting weight on it while installing the vent - a new one was purchased and mailed to me before I even noticed it was cracked). They were very honest and forthcoming about the quality of their work and clearly take pride in the job they do.

Of course - there has to be a bit of a downside, right? The trade off for all of this high quality work and professionalism shows in their price. Initially we were quoted $45-60K for our remodel project. When all was said and done, we paid DreamMaker over $77,000 - and this did NOT include the appliances, electrical work, or refinishing the floors (additional $22k). If I had known that all of the 'extras' like the cabinet over the stove to hide the vent, a couple of pull-out basket drawers, a higher quality backsplash, etc. were to push the project SO FAR over the initial quote, I would have done more due diligence in getting more quotes. We were in a hurry to get the remodel done so we could move into our new house and then prep the old one for sale..... by the time we realized how much our Dream Kitchen was REALLY going to cost - it was too late unless we wanted to add months onto our time line while searching out other contractors.

All that being said - we do LOVE our kitchen and expect to love it for years and years to come. We would work with Tanja again in a heartbeat - but only after verifying that DreamMaker's prices are competitive with other quality contractors.

We were extremely pleased with DreamMaker Bath & Kitchen. We worked with a designer who was clearly well-qualified to help us navigate through many choices, and she was very patient with us. We especially appreciated the owner's firsthand involvement in our project, adding his opinions on some design choices as well as making frequent appearances while the work was taking place, checking quality and progress as well as physically pitching in at times. There were no surprises, although the price did creep up due to our choices. The work was finished in the stated timeframe and was of very high quality. It was clear that the owner takes pride in the work of his company, and this resulted in a new kitchen that we are absolutely in love with.

From the beginning the owner and the designer(Both named Paul) took their time and explained every step to us. They were extremely organized and it was a turn key operation, we didn't have to talk to any other contractors to get any part of it done. The bathroom took 3 weeks and they were in the house every day. There a few small surprises and Dreammaker handled it quickly and honestly.
We highly recommend this company to anyone; we will definitely use them again. We are so happy with our bathroom now, Dreammaker exceeded our expectations.

DreamMaker Bath & Kitchen began work on 1/7/13. Their employee John arrived on time, was very respectful and worked diligently. He was a pleasure to have in my home. The owner of the business ( Master Carpenter) Paul C did a great job with the work he completed. However, he and I had a disagreement over how the granite counter should be cut.  My idea was different from his and he took offence. He told me "we'll do whatever you want but it will be ugly. Ive only done over 2000 kitchens and Im a master carpenter. Go ahead dont listen to me."  I felt like a child being scolded. It was very uncomfortable. Then when the cabinets were delivered and installed, we noticed that the shelves for the bookcase were missing.  Paul told me it would take 4 weeks to reorder the shelves. DreamMaker completed the remodel project and said they would return with the shelving.  The remodel was completed by 1/31/13.  It is now May 4th and I still dont have shelves for the bookcase and one of the electrical outlets is still hanging from the wall. I suppose its my fault for paying in full upon project completion.
