Andrea was our real estate agent for our first house purchase. In my opinion she went above and beyond what she needed to do! She sent us email updates with houses in our search area. She gave us a lot of information on what to expect when looking at house, when buying a house, and when dealing with sellers. She took us on many, many, many house viewings. Andrea explained the recent market and helped us decide on a reasonable offer for the house we finally decided upon. We weren't the only ones who made an offer, we eventually had to increase our offer, and she kept us updated the whole time. Once our offer was finally accepted she recommended a very good and reliable home inspector and real estate lawyer. The sellers lived in a different state and there were several issues that needed to be dealt with, made more difficult with the fact that the sellers weren't local, but Andrea made everything go very smoothly for us. I say she went above and beyond because she was very proactive, over the new year when we hadn't contacted her in a while she contacted us to make sure we were still interested in buying. Also, the first time we met her, I had contacted her earlier that day looking at various agents, and her office took a very detailed message for us, and she called us back right away. We were actually going to a showing that night and she arranged to show the house to us at the last minute. Also, she would email at night, after 10pm, answering our questions, sending us paperwork, etc. She said she was still up and working so it wasn't a problems she was actually working on my schedule without knowing it! She is very personable, very concerned with personal issues we have been dealing with, and just a very kind person. Andrea made sure everything went smoothly for us the whole way. She was always an email or phone call away, and would get back to you right away. She was great at finding answers for us. She was great as a bridge between us and the sellers during a very stressful time for us. Overall, I would say as a first time home purchase goes it couldn't have been any better! I would highly recommend Andrea to others, and have actually already recommended her to friends!
