$200
We bought the house last year and Allied was the sprinkler service company that the previous owners used, so we sent in a $200 check for service this year (2013).  Service includes opening up the system for the summer, minor repairs, and shutting it down for the winter.  Scheduling the spring opening service was a nightmare.  Allied took several weeks just to schedule the appointment, and they still showed up late afternoon when they were supposed to be here by 10AM.  We needed additional repairs to the sprinkler system, and I am still trying to get an appointment set.  I spoke to the owner last week and he told me they could be back to do the repairs on Tuesday.  Now Allied is telling me they won't be able to do the repair work until next week.  Worst of all, when I spoke to the owner for the first time, he was rude and complained that I didn't allow his crew to do the repairs on their first visit.  In reality, his crew didn't have the tools to do the repairs, and his crew told me they would charge $75/hr/person (i.e., $150/hr) to dig up the pipes in the system to find the problems/leaks.  My handyman/landscaper charged me $35/hr to do the same work.  So, yes, the crew saved me money, but the owner was annoyed about it and complained to me;  The first thing the owner said to me was, "If I send my crew back out there, are you going to let them do their job or get in the way?"  I am canceling my service contract with Allied and will find someone else to do the repair work.

THEY DID A TERRIFIC JOB DURING THE INSTALLATION ON ANSWERING ALL MY QUESTIONS THAT I HAD FOR THEM. THEY SAID IT MADE THE JOB A LOT EASIER WHEN THEY SHOWED UP AND SAW THAT WE HAVEN'T PLANTED ANY GRASS YET.

A FRIEND RECOMMENDED THAT WE GIVE THIS SERVICE COMPANY A CALL AND I AM GLAD THAT WE DID. THEIR WORK ETHIC IS OF INCREDIBLY HIGH STANDARDS. I WAS IMPRESSED WITH HOW THEY TOOK THEIR TIME TO ENSURE THE JOB WAS DONE CORRECTLY THE FIRST TIME.
