I used New Milford Septic for years and thought they were ok-until my septic system was inspected. The baffle on my tank had broken off years ago and they never told us about the needed repair when they pumped our tank. I wonder if their guys are the ones that damaged the baffle - it's not like anyone else has opened the septic tank... When I went to sell my house an inspection revealed years of sludge choking my septic system. I now have to replace the entire system and the price tag is nearly $30,000! Don't rely on this company to maintain your system if you want to avoid massive repairs to or replacement of your septic system.

The company responded to my frantic phone call right away.  The manager located the service repairman and called me back to tell me when the repair man would arrive. The repair man was on time, polite, professional and gave us full confidence that he would locate and solve the problem.  He worked for more than 3 hours in the cold and dark to help us.  He solved the problem and waited to make sure everything was working with the plumbing before he left.

They visited my house twice. The first step involved initial probing and follow recommendations for me to help in diagnosing the issue. After this stage and further telephone consultations we agreed that test pits were necessary. Three representatives plus a bulldozer spent the day at my property investigating the issue. They were not too quick to judge the complex source of the problem and in the end we believe we resolved it.
