This was the third time that we have used McCloskey Painting over the years and as always we were impressed with the quality of their work. We actually had 2 jobs for them, deck staining and indoor wall painting. Mark and his team did all of it very professionally including all of the while you are here...add-ons that inevitably pop up. Including some last minute repair work to the stairs on the deck! I would definitely recommend them to anyone looking for a quality painting service in the New Milford area.

Mark was amazing. Contacted us right away, and provided a very fair estimate. Mark and Chris are very professional and did a wonderful job painting our daughters room as well as both fixing and painting our bathroom ceiling and walls. Mark went above and beyond to determine the cause of moisture coming through our ceiling and fixed it. We will continue to have rooms painted by Mark and team!

Mark and his team were great to work with and very motivated to keep our home clean while the family room walls and ceiling needed signifiant repair. They were sure to repair all popped nails within the dry wall and repair some significant damage on our ceiling. They did a fantastic job painting our beams and restored them to a more natural appearance. We are thrilled with our new family room and love spending time admiring their work and improvements.

Mark painted the interior of home in Pawling, NY including removing wall paper, painting cabinets etc. This was a large job that lasted 2 months with 2 plus people on site. He stayed within his estimate. Work quality was excellent. Truly a great contractor.

I started off just wanting the house powerwashed and wood trim painted..But you know what happens- then the deck looked tired and I wanted it stained, the brass light fixtures needed to be updated with burnished bronze paint, the front door needed a facelift..All the little things that seem insurmountable were accomplished by Mark and his efficient crew in no time at all. I would highly recommend them to all and look forward to getting a quote for crown molding in anticipation of our next home improvement!

WORST PAINTER HAVE EVER ENCOUNTERED! Have never seen such sloppy and careless work by someone who says he is a professional painter. They damaged a custom made wall panel with water and solvents. It could not be repaired and had to be remade and painted at a cost of $800. A panel of computerized driveway light switches was damaged by water and solvents such that an electrician had to be called in at a costs of $350. And he was so unprofessional that I was not even informed to these damages but discovered them after the fact. The paint lines were the walls meet the ceilings were extremely irregular and uneven that they looked like they were done by amateurs. This was also the case were the walls meet the baseboards. The caulking in most areas looked as if it had just be jammed in, without smoothing out. The appearance of the work was so poor that another painter had to be hired to remedy it at another cost of $550. And the dust they left behind throughout the house was outrageous and necessitated a separate housekeeper visit. If you value your home you would be well advised to not hire this company. And HOME ADVISOR should be ashamed to themselves for giving this guy visibility and recommendation on their site. The only reason I hired him is because of their recommendation. His work was so bad and cost so much to rectify, the validity of his positive reviews on this site is suspect.

They provided a great value for the money. They were here when they said did an excellent job and cleaned up when they were done All in all an excellent job.

After talking to several people and getting the feeling things were not right I finally contacted Mark, well we are very glad we did, he and his crew did exceptional work and went above and beyond for what we had expected, can not say enough nice things about them, very polite and accommodating and working around our schedule was a big plus! Excellent work and cleaned up everything and even helped moving big furniture and cabinets back, they did not have to do that but it is something like this that sticks in your mind. They repaired all the plaster from the electrical work that was done and you would never know there was a repair done. I will call them again and have already asked for price on more work. Do yourself a favor and give them a call if you need this type of work.

Mark was great! Professional and went above and beyond to fix the thing is mentioned, and a few cracks and such that I hadn't even known were there! I'm ready for my floor install now, thanks to him. Will hire again for more work in the future!

Mark McCloskey is a knowledgable and experienced painter and house doctor. He came up with several good ideas I would not have thought of. He was easy to work with. We liked his crew, who were professional and responsible. They did an excellent job.
