This company collapsed my house. They dug under the foundation after noticing that there was not adequate side support, and the foundation collapsed. They worked for about 10 minutes and kept my entire deposit of $3500 because I had "reserved" the labor. An engineer inspected the damage as part of the insurance claim and cited faulty work by J&J. They were completely obtuse and gave me the run around about getting my deposit back, lied about the work they did, and I currently can't live in my house because the foundation is not stable and I can't get the work done until the insurance company resolves things. When I spoke to the worker after the collapse he said "when I've seen foundation walls come down, the dirt behind the walls didn't come down, too" - and I thought well dang, how many foundations have you collapsed? He told me that his foreman complained prior to starting that there was no support for the foundation walls under which they were digging, yet they dug anyway. We'll have to sue the company, which will take forever, and we still don't have a place to live. J&J is awful, has terrible communication, and practices complete negligence and dishonesty. If you hate your house and want somebody to ruin it, that's the only reason to hire J&J.
