"Thank you"
David came out to see what needed to be done, charged us the quoted price, which was $600.00. There was additional work to be done which was an additional $250.00 which was very reasonable for what he did. He saved us a ton of money by fixing what we had rather than tellling us to buy a new system, which he said we may need down the road, but in the meantime, everything is working really well
we were very impressed with his work, and with him in general. We would definitely use him again. IF we do need a new system, he will be our go to guy.
He called before coming over to let me know he was on his way, and arrived precisely on time. He looked at what needed to be done, got everything he needed out of his truck - in one trp, and had the old things out and the new things in in no time at all. Everything was done perfectly, with absolutely no mess whatsoever.
As it says on his website, and in his business description on Angie's List, he does mostly service work, and in fact the reason I chose him in the first place was that he does certain specific things in a certain defined area, and these matched my needs exactly. He was also able to give me some good advice on some tile work I was thinking about having done. The only surprise I got was the price he charged: much LESS than I thought it would be.
I can, and do, recommend him highly, and if it were possible to go higher than an "A" that's the grade he deserves.
Since there was no turn off valve for the water he had to shut down all the water for the house to make the repairs. I had told him the maker of the system and on the way to my house he had picked up the parts he would need. He had arrived exactly at the time promised and went to work immediately. When he was finished he asked if I realized I was wasting a lot of hot water by having 5 gal per minute output instead of a 2.5. I wondered why I always ran out of hot water so quickly. He asked if I would like it replaced with a 2.5 and I agreed since I had one that was left by the Utility Company when they did a house inspection to save me energy. Now when showering I do not run out of hot water even though the pressure is not as great I can live with it.
He also asked if I had any other problems and I mentioned my kitchen sink had an air aider on the faucet which was terrible. He replaced it and also replaced the part that controlled the water pressure. I no longer have to struggle to lift the handle up and down to get the pressure I required.
The good thing about David Howard was he responded to my leaving a voice message within an hour and got here in 45 minutes.
He had everything I needed and was very professional. He was a nice guy and knew what he was doing.
There might be an additional charge for parts that he replaced that he was not sure of the price. He will e-mail that to me if there is.
"The Job was preformed on 9/5/13 not this March 20th. I replaced parts IN the toilet & the supply tube that was leaking, not the Seal. The Ceiling was sagging when I got there. I also replaced the kitchen faucet, (I supplied it) & most of the drain pipes under that sink. Repaired a leak under the bath sink & the tub valve. I ordered parts at my expense for her for other work, not returnable. She never pd the balance of her $600.00 bill which I called her & emailed her several times. I also stopped in one day & spoke with her through her door. She said she would mail the money. She has never called me in those 10 months to complain or pay. I wish Angie's list could some how hold people responsible for there lies & untruths. It is to easy a platform for customers to run contractors names through the mud."
Breezy, talkative; left me a mess to clean up.
Had to get a replacement part but returned in a reasonable amount of time
took away disposal and left work area clean
Price d a little high but I believe that is because of the area i live in
