The blue-prints were garbage. The city BO rejected them. Twice I had to email T.J. to get information / calculations that were not on the blue-prints. Overall, the blue-prints were missing significant amounts of data the BO would needed to approve our addition...but T.J. lied to our faces on multiple occasions and told us they would pass based on the blue-prints he handed us. We had to hire another design firm and pay another 2k to have new design plans done from scratch. The new quote by our contractor was 29k to meet these much more detailed blue-prints. The city BO official has approved them and work starts on our addition on 10/7/2015...and if T.J. was not an out and out liar, the room would have been completed by April 2015. We are about to start a lawsuit against T.J. to recoup the money we paid him. We would never use T.J. Nelson for anything, we cannot recommend him and we surely do not like or respect him as a member of our community.
