Ruby Glass was very good on the phone when placing the order, and came to measure before giving us an estimate. There was no issue when we had to delay a year due to a sudden family illness. When we followed up they gave us a date for the glass to arrive, and it arrived early so they called and we agreed on an install date and time. The two workers arrived on time, and performed the work as quietly as one can when removing aluminum slider doors, replacing the glass and replacing.
There were a couple of issues I wish had gone better, but will still use them in the future.
The minor issues were three fold.
First, when done one of the workers came upstairs to find me instead of calling thereby going into parts of the Condo I would rather he was not in. More due to not having cleaned well recently, but general politeness says call out fist, then if no answer go searching.
Second the panes of glass have a manufacturers emblem about one inch square in the glass and would have been best practice to put in the bottom corner away form the door handle so not to be so noticeable. Next time I will ask them to watch out for this.
Third is that they did a poor job of cleaning the glass, with a spray can of glass cleaner and paper towels. The next morning the sun came through and there were major broad streaks across the glass. Shame on brand new windows.
