Arakelian Oriental Rugs

John Balayan, the owner of Arakelian Rugs, is truly amazing! We called Arakelian Rugs after a disastrous spill on our oriental rug that resulted in red splatters in a large section of the rug. John not only immediately contacted us, he also came right out to see if it would even be possible to repair the damage. We are truly amazed that the team at Arakelian was able to restore our rug - we cannot even see any remnants of the stain! John gave us a timeframe for each step of the process and kept in touch with us throughout. We then had several other rugs cleaned at very reasonable prices. The rugs were picked up, delivered, and placed. We also purchased new padding which makes such a difference. We are truly grateful to the entire team at Arakelian Rugs for such professional and outstanding service.

It was a pleasure! John came to our house and picked up our rugs and then returned them all in a timely manner. He is such a nice person, and very easy to talk to. He never tried to push more than was needed and actually threw in a few extras! I will definitely use this business again and refer others. A+++++

It went very well. The owner, John, came with them and they came when they said they would. Moved the furniture, removed the rug and pad, and replaced the furniture. Very nice company to deal with and the rug looks great.

John returned our rug as planned as planned, today:  it looks bright and "healthy", it is also odor free.  It is so pleasant to work with someone who keeps his promises!    New padding was provided,  at our request: it is so much better than what one could buy at a local hardware store
We also asked for advice on cleaning, rotating, etc. etc.  The cost was high but it included cleaning, deodorizing and the pad, all worth every penny.

We were thrilled with the service. The rugs look great, with the colors more vibrant than before. And John Balayan was incredibly service-oriented: helped to move the furniture when he removed the rugs, and put the furniture back in place when he and Jonathan returned them...even asking to make sure it was angled the way we wanted it!

We dropped the rug off although they do have a pick up service. The rug was heavily soiled following an pet 'accident' plus had not been cleaned in a number of years so who knows what was on it (!). I was told to come into the store and they would carry the rug in, but my husband was able to carry it in without bothering to ask for assistanvee. they kept the rug a tad longer than I expected but it was very dirty and apparently took severl cleanings to bring it up to scratch. It came back and even felt clean and soft to the touch and the color came up really well.
