We were looking for someone to update our bathroom. I found Strawbuilder LLC on the web and called for an estimate. We were provided an estimate within a couple of days. The estimate seemed fair and reasonable. My wife was very skeptical of Strawbuilder LLC having not heard any feedback from those she spoke with. Chris and Dave showed up when expected and work was completed on time, on budget and exceeded our expectations. My wife asked for shelving for storage. They built her a custom cabinet. She was thrilled! Chris and Dave kept the dirt and dust to a minimum and cleaned up at the end of each day. Wife was very impressed as she is fussy about keeping things clean. Hired to fix a disastrous job caused by Kehoe remodeling. Very professional, calm and attentive to details. Very pleased with the outcome. Completed in time promised. Reinstall storm door closer( that Kehoe disassembled and left on the floor) without asking for anything else. A pleasant surprise and wow factor.

Chris Alvey (StrawBuilder) has demonstrated exceptional craftsmanship for my painting/flooring/kitchen remodeling work. He introduces a good kitchen cabinet wholesaler and an electrician to complete the kitchen work. He is very detail oriented and welcomes discussion with me to reflect customer's requests to the works. He always answers my phone calls or calsl me back within a couple of hours. You will be happy to have him for your home projects.

We are currently in a holding pattern as far as completing our transaction with StrawBuilder, LLC but only due to personal circumstances. I can say that StrawBuilder LLC was extremely quick in setting up an appointment which was kept and began promptly. Mr. Alvey is very professional in the manner in which he conducts business and I have a very good feeing that if we are able to continue this transaction, my flooring will be installed with excellent workmanship.

Work was done ahead of the anticipated schedule. Quality of work was beyond what was expected. Very satisfied with the job. They moved a gazebo for us by taking it apart and rebuilding it in another location. Good prefessional attitude. They seem to actually enjoy their work !

Outstanding workers. Arrived on time each day and worked a nine hour day. The quality of their work and the craftsmanship were outstanding. Clean and neat workers. Took away all materials and left my basement rooms and yard (where they set up their machines and work space) free of any debris. I would not hestitate to hire them for additional projects and renovations in the future. They are indeed a five star operation.

Chris Alvey of Stawbuilders, LLC did fabulous work for me. He did complicated tile work with gorgeous results, definitely a specialty of his. Electrical work, carpentry including installation of crown molding and custom fireplace mantle, as well as plumbing work were also superbly done. Chris takes pride in his work, he is easy to talk to and understands the job you want done. He offers alternatives and his honest opinion when asked. He offers fair and reasonable rates. Chris will continue to be my first choice for a general contractor.
