Mark and I had a bit of trouble connecting at first for the estimate due to some emergent situations on both our parts. On the day of the estimate, Mark was unable to make his appointment because of another plumbing emergency, but I was highly impressed to hear from his wife, Tina. She called and offered to have Mark come on a different date for the estimate, or if I preferred, she could come within the hour and take pictures and notes to give to her husband, who would go over the information and provide the estimate. I opted to have Tina come that day and she made a point of asking questions and taking several pictures while communicating with Mark on the cell phone. She was professional and courteous and I had the written estimate within 9 days. The price of the job matched another estimate I had received, however I chose Gem Mechanical LLC. because of the efforts made on their end to get the estimate done when it was scheduled. In spite of his other obligations, Gem Mechanical LLC made a point of communicating with me about the situation and gave me options to chose from. With regard to the job done, Mark was professional and quick with his work. He arrived on time on the date of our appointment. I was also impressed by the fact that he didn't make the hole in the floor for the dryer vent without first seeing the back of the dryer. Because this work was done prior to my move-in date, the appliances weren't yet in the home. Mark offered to return, at no extra cost, to make sure the job was done right.
Description of Work: Mark, the owner of Gem Mechanical, LLC., ran a copper water line to the fridge, he ran the pipes and connected the washing machine (using existing pipes when possible), he drilled a hole through the bathroom floor to run a dryer vent to an existing hole in the basement.
