Yes, I recommend this pro
John rushed to get the right parts before the store closed during rush hour and finished the job in time to save food from spoiling and spending another day or so without power. I Highly recommend his work.

Balzano Electric was hired to fix outlets in our kitchen and in the back of our house. I first called the owner, John Balzano to set up our appointment. He chose the dates of Saturday, December 31, 2016, and Sunday January 1, 2017. I left work early on Saturday as John asked if he could come earlier. Once I found coverage at work, I called him to confirm the updated time. I rushed home that afternoon, only to sit for about two hours before I finally called him to ask if he was still coming. His response was a straight "NO." I was told he forgot about the appointment, and was not coming on Sunday as planned either as he now had "something else to do." I was pretty ticked off as I now had lost time at work, and was being blown off for both appointments that were set, but we moved forward and set another appointment for Tuesday, January 3,2016. I called the night before to confirm a time frame (something I honestly think should be his job to do.) John was nice in the beginning of the conversation but quickly turned sour when I asked if he could move the time within a half hour as I was going to be at work again, but was going to have a family member at the house to be here with him. At this point, I was getting extremely irritated with his condescending tone of voice. I honestly wish I had recorded the phone call to play for anyone who is thinking of using this company in the future. We ended up keeping the appointment for the next morning and disconnected the call. As much as I didn't want this guy coming to my home, I just wanted the work done at this point and to move on. When I arrived home from work, I inspected the outlets in the kitchen. I am truly so disappointed in the work that was done. John replaced one outlet in the kitchen. He put in a new GFI when what we needed was two regular outlets. Now we have three GFI's on one circuit, and they are redundant and continue to trip. We are now looking into having the permits pulled so the work can be checked (something he told me in the beginning would not be necessary.) It is unfortunate that it came to this, as I would much rather be spending my time relaxing after work, than making phone calls to get this fixed and leaving reviews in hopes of sparing someone else the trouble we are now experiencing as a consequence of using Balzano Electric. In my opinion, the owner, John Balzano, is unprofessional, rude, and untrustworthy. I will never use this company again, nor suggest to any friends or family. Spare yourself the time, money, and headache!
Response from John Balzano Electric
"I have never done a job on [Member Information Removed] Street in Naugatuck. I am always on time for my appointment (usually 10-15 minutes early). Absolutely NEVER rude to people especially customers. As far as my work, I take pride in my work and I won't take payment until the customer is satisfied."
