H.J. Smith were highly professional and competent in all areas: a detailed proposal, coordinating permits with town officials and the fire marshall, communicating via email and telephone, completing the installation on time. I recommend them highly.

I called and left a message. They never called back, but a few weeks later they just showed up to do the job. They repaired toilet, but a month or two later it began to leak again. I called them and this time they called back promptly and came out same day to do the job. I was surprised when shortly thereafter I received a second bill. When I questioned it, they said the second problem was unrelated to the first one. Maybe so (how would I know?), but you hate it when this sort of thing happens.

I don?t remember how much we spent with them but they have done our furnace and with that a lot of other stuff. We live in a fairly old house. They replaced all the old valves that are needed to turn off the water around the house. They put in a valve so that I could turn off the water to my washer when not in use. They replaced the rubber hoses with metal ones which are less likely to give out. They do terrific work. They stand behind all their work. They have good people. I cannot say enough good things about them. Having plumbing work done is expensive but we have never found them to be expensive. Their prices are all very reasonable. We will definitely use this company in the future. They are the only ones who do plumbing work for us.

They were very professional and did a top notch job. They were very good with the follow up; they just came back did the some stuff that needed work. They have been there for a long time. I would recommend them in a heart beat. I would use them again in future.
