Despite signing a contracted on 10/18/2022, the job is ongoing and likely will not be completed until 5/26. That's 7 months. When the installation team finished on our original installation date of 2/10, they left us with 11 functionality issues & multiple cosmetic issues for the 12 products installed, all requiring immediate service, repair or replacement. Issues included installation of broken glass, missing screens, broken & cracked window frames & non working interior blinds to name a few. Our "recovery" installation on 4/14 was not successful either, and now we are left with only 7 issues that require service, repair or replacement. Examples include wrong parts being ordered, new damage to other products that were working fine after our first installation and Pella not replacing broken glass that was scheduled to be replaced because they sent the wrong team even with a 9 week lead time to get it right. ABSOLUTELY AWFUL SERVICE AND CHEAP BROKEN PRODUCTS. STAY AWAY!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

How did it go -- Sooo Bad! This Pella Team did such a sloppy and careless job installing our new kitchen windows in our brick home. The depth at which each window was set into the house was different from each other and they were radically different from the windows on the rest of the house. Neither of the windows they installed were especially square or especially level, which wasn't even the worst part. I thought I was hiring professionals, but it was like working with someone who's so bored with installing windows they don't even care anymore. Like **Yeah it von't leak. Eh. It's good enough** That sort of vibe. When we very nicely tried to seek some rectification for our ****-eyed windows - Aidan, the branch manager - instantly got legal with us. He didn't care either and said his team had "satisfied the terms of the contract" Ha, an inadequate contract they had created. Then he wouldn't return any of my calls or messages. I'm on an internet campaign to let people know to avoid this business. I wish so badly I had hired anyone else.

The installers showed up on time early in the morning and were finished by early afternoon. They were very professional and did an excellent job. After completing the job they did a thorough job of cleaning up and removing the debris. We no longer have drafts by the door and windows. Very pleased with product and installation. This was the second door and window Pella installed for us.

On September 22nd, as the installation commenced, and only after the Pella installation crew tore out 2 of our windows, we discovered (much to our surprise) that the windows delivered were in fact not New Construction, but Replacement windows --- exactly what we had been explicit with David Noonan that we did not want and were not interested in. We immediately halted further installation work and contacted David Noonan (who to this day has never returned our call), Jimmy Krentzman and the Pella regional sales manager, Aidan Curtin, to express our utter dissatisfaction. Jimmy arrived shortly thereafter to tell us there was nothing he could do as Pella would not be able to install New Construction casements in the bays. Given the situation and having no option other than living with 2 holes in our house, we instructed the installation crew to proceed with only installing the 2 windows that had been removed. Further, to our dismay (and as I shared with Adian Curtin and Jimmy Krentzman later that same day ), we also discovered the installation team did not use shims or screws during the installation process. The Pella installer claimed that shims were not required and that the insulating foam would secure the window. However, Pella's own installation instructions that clearly calls for both shims and screws to properly secure the windows. Pella’s sales process was deceptive and their installation process did not follow their own procedures. Until now, I had been a loyal customer of Pella and never has a concern about the quality of their windows or the integrity of your company. But, the recent experience I have had, has made me question both. I understand from Pella that it believes it cannot install New Construction windows in the bays (as we had requested and fully believed we had ordered). However, I feel the company significantly overcharged me for New Construction windows. To date, I have only had 2 of the windows installed with the 2 remaining windows installation halted until we resolve the overbilling situation as well as the correction of the poorly installed windows. I spoke with Aidan, the Pella regional manager on September 22nd to discuss the issues we raised with him on September 16th when the wrong Pella windows were to be installed. At that time, he committed to get to us a revised estimate of New Construction and Replacement windows. We want to compare those against the prior orders we had placed for New Construction to ensure consistency in pricing. On September 27th, I followed up with an email on the request for the Pella re-estimate the casement windows as New Construction and Replacement for comparison against the prior New Construction windows installed. I followed that up with subsequent emails and phone calls only to have Pella be completely unresponsive to date.

Very poorly.

My family's treatment by DHD Windows and Doors of Monroe, CT through their subcontractor,  Roman Petryk and Voydeick Plesniarski  was rude, belligerent, off-putting, unprofessional, and plainly unacceptable. Contractor came into my home with a sour and rude manner, ignorant as to the contractually agreed-upon scope of work on a $20,000 Pella project. DHD had to come to our house in Fairfield, and set these hooligans straight in terms of the scope of work, and the fact that they needed to provide all services.. FYI: I had purchased a complete package - new windows, doors, all demo expenses, purchase of miscellaneous building materials to complete the scope of work, and the costs of all debris removal. Once the project got underway, the subcontractors did not construct a plastic construction barrier wall between the work site and the rest of the house so that construction dust permeated every room in the house;  The subcontractors did not remove construction debris, but furtively dumped the debris into a dumpster in our yard being used by another contractor who complained that the DHD people had overfilled their dumpster with their debris and garbage.  The DHD subcontractors  broke a new door installed months before by misusing it, tearing the weather stripping off and shearing off the deadbolt that locks it. DHD subcontractor denied doing so (the door was in perfect working order until the day DHD arrived to insall the Pella doors/windows). The door remains unrepaired despite my complaint to fix it  for safety purposes (we cannot lock that door).     Consumers in Fairfield County beware --hire a real contractor and/or  stick with Marvin or another manufacturer of good windows and doors that is not plainly incompetent in its work ethic.

It was fantastic. It was very personal service. They met with me first and gave me my options. They suggested different ways of doing things. They did the job in one day when they showed up. A supervisor came by when the workers were here and chatted with me to make sure I was happy with everything. They followed up when the job was done to make sure that I was happy. They are a fantastic company.
