 + -1 moreI used Total Mortgage Services to get a mortgage for our new house. I found them on Bankrate.com and made a quick phone call to get a pre-approval letter. Josh Chernes answered my call and after taking some information from me, he provided me with a pre-approval letter within 30 mins!!! They charge $495 application fee which was refunded on my closing day, and other fees they charged such as appraisal fees are very reasonable compared to other quotes I got elsewhere. Their turnaround time is amazing. I started my application on December 2nd and on December 18th I got a phone call from Josh saying that my loan is fully approved! Josh is very responsive and knowledgeable to all my questions. It amazed me that one time I sent an email to him around 9:30pm at night and he responded at 9:50pm. I would definitely recommend Total Mortgage and Josh to my friends.
