I think they did an awesome job on this project. The paving is even as is the walkway. There were no problems and it just looks really, really good. I felt that the price was fair for the amount of the work they did.

They began the job in July of 2006. The foundation was complete in August of 2006. The sub floor and walls were complete by the end of August. The roof was not complete until mid September, which in the meantime, the sub flooring was getting wet. Some of the windows and doors were put in mid-November. We were put off for weeks for a large decorative window because they claimed that they ordered the wrong window. They began the footings for the deck in November, framing the deck in December. The siding was started in December and continued into January 2007. We had to hire our own electrician in November, because his retired. The insulation and Sheetrock was completed in January. Heating was completed in February. We had to recommend a Friend for the heating. Flooring was completed by April. We ended up firing them in May and hired someone else to complete the decking, which is still in progress. Needed to fix structural problems. Would NOT recommend hiring this contractor!

Kurt contracted with us to remove our current porch and add a family room, mudroom and deck. He contracted with us in May 2006 and stated the job would take approximately 2 months to complete. It is now May of 2007 and the work is still not complete. They did not show up for weeks at a time and did not return our phone calls. They had excuses constantly on why they would not be here to work, that is if they even returned our phone call. We had to hire our own electrician, because they kept giving us excuses on why the electrician was not showing up. Our airconditioning and deck are still not complete. We were VERY unhappy with this whole project and would like to keep this from happening to someone else.
