I liked there promptness.  I called and they didn't make me wait too long.  I think they were there in a day or so.   They understood it was an emergency and reacted promptly.  They were professional doing the job.  They didn't waste any time.  He just did it, checked it, and recommended some things.  I felt confident with there work.

The job was done within two hours.  Don did a good job, as we now have come to expect.  This was the second time we engaged East Coast Plumbing.  We had a very good experience the first time.  It is refreshing to work with people who have integrity and a professional ethic.  I approach my own work this way, and I prize it in others.  East Coast Plumbing is highly recommended.

I called early in the morning - got a call back within 10 minutes and plumber was at my house by 9 a.m.  Chris was courteous and professional, explained the problem, repaired it and gave me an estimate for a toilet replacement.  He sat down with me and answered all my questions.  My problem was resolved by 10 a.m.

Excellent service . Dom gave us a quote on our job and that was exactly what it cost (less 10% discount for Angie's list customer). Sent out two workers for the job and they actually arrived an hour early which is never heard of! Very pleasant and professional workers. Had the job completed in two hours and left no mess. We would definitely use East Coast Plumbing again.

As mentioned. everything about the experience was exemplary. On the most recent occasion, we came home at 7:15pm to find a pipe had burst in our basement. After turning off the water, we called East Coast Plumbing right away. Tina at the office acted quickly to find a repairman to come out to fix the problem. Within an hour, Chris was there despite it being late in the evening. He easily diagnosed the problem and quickly put together a replacement for the damaged area. As he was the first time, he was professional, kind and effective. Again, I highly recommend East Coast - and Chris in particular - to anyone in the New Haven/Milford area.

Exelllent, the service person came right away and diagnosed the problem quickly. He then went to the plumbing supply store to find the right parts for our tub which is very old. He came back and installed the parts and the price was very fair. this is the 2nd time we have used this company for two different plumbing issues and we will definitly be calling them again!

There was a leak in the L joint in the plumbing inside the wall and these guys had to pry open the vinyl siding, break open the plywood planks, get out the insultaion stuff and fix the L joint.This was a relatively complex job as far as a layman like me was concerned.They spent a little more than 2 hours here and I found paying 465 dollars was a tad expensive as the billing rate was 200 plus an hour. They fixed the pipe but said it was not their job to put back the insulation material , plywood /vinyl back. I didn't dispute this .But the real issue was with the inksinerator garbage disposal.It started leaking immediately after they left but under heavy load.We called them in a few days and they came back promptly.They inspected their work and told me that it was an issue with the inksinerator itself and not their workmanship.I called the inksinerator support (they had a 5 year in-home warranty with labour) and the support told me that they would send someboddy from donnelly appliance in stratford,ct but if it turned out to be a mistake with the installation they would charge me. I agreed to this as I thought these guys were professionals and knew what they were speaking about. The guy from donelly came up and inspected the unit and told me that it seemed to be an issue with the unit.He came back in a few days with a new replacement unit and fixed the new one (totally covered under insinkinerator's super warranty !!!). The new unit started to leak immediately again and that's when I called Donnelly appliance again and he came up again and did a complete installation.That's when he pointed out that the original install was not done properly and we were very lucky that he did not find it out in the 1st visit otherwise he would have charged us for the service call. he fixed up the issue and left and it seems to be ok after that.It seems very wierd that east coast plumbing which happens to charge so much could not even get the garbage disposer installation right.Even when I called them to check out the leak they claimed that the unit was defective.I would consider myself very lucky that insinkinerator's repair person did not notice this defect in the first place!!!I would never use this company's service again. I am still keeping my fingers' crossed about the plumbing leak.Things look OK till now.

They were late for the appointment because of an emergency, but they did call to let me know . When they did show up that guy had to leave because of another emergency. They sent another 2 guys over within30 minutes and let me know of the situation

I called their office on a Saturday, spoke to a receptionist, and asked if they would be able to install the new water heater the following Monday. I was told that some one would call me back to confirm. Within a few minutes, one of their staff called me back and said they would be able to do the job on Monday, either in the morning or afternoon, depending on their schedule, but I would be called Monday morning when the office opened, for a time confirmation. I asked for an estimated cost and was told it would be around $350.00. Shortly after 7:00 am on Monday, someone called to tell me that they would arrive around 8:00, and sure enough, they did. I had purchased the water heater and brought it home on Saturday, transporting it in my car trunk. Not knowing much about plumbing, I didn't know how long the job would take, but the two plumbers seemed to work professionally and efficiently and the job was finished in less than an hour. First, they removed the new unit from my car and one of the men pointed out that there were a few small dings and scratches on the new tank that must have occurred when I transported it.After it was installed, one of the men explained that I needed to wait about a half hour before using the hot water. So far, it has been working fine.

The emergency call was not as expensive as we thought it would be. The work was done well and both of the plumbers sent (the emergency call was actually the owner) were very professional and knowledgeable.

Called office and they had someone to my house within two hours. He came, diagnosed the problem and fixed it. Cleaned up after his work.

I called on a Sunday night about my clogged garbage disposal line. Someone called me back that night and arranged for a visit the next morning. After three hours of diligent work, everything was up and running. Have had no problems since and am very pleased.

The dispatcher was courteous and gave the standard price quote for unblocking a drain and said someone would be at my house in 45 minutes. About 35 minutes later, he called again to apologize that the truck the guy was using needed to be towed in and the appointment may need to be rescheduled. I explained that would be a hardship and quite a delay considering my schedule. He thought that the truck just may need a gas filter change, and if so, would send him out to me that early evening. I was happily surprised when he did call again to say someone was on their way. He arrived on time and was efficient and pleasant.

I purchased a new garbage disposal and called this company to install it. Work was completed when promised. They also took away the old disposal for me. The new unit works perfectly and the installation was neat and clean.
