Brick and Stone Patios, Walks, and Steps Installation
They removed a mix of 50 year old patio cements. They then designed and installed stone pavers and retaining wall dress-up. There were very tight working spaces and all was done without damage. They then suggested so landscaping that improved privacy.

Arata Lanscaping did a terrific job in transforming the front walkway and entryway to my home. I would recommend them for any of your landscaping needs. The people that do the work are professional and easy to work with. Mike Arata was very helpful from design to installation. He completes the job with out any thing left undone. It was a pleasure to work with this group.

The landscaper has an excellent source for plants and shrubbery ( TLC Wholesale Nursery ) and an excellent staff of workers. They are prompt, knowledgeable and responsive. However, be prepared for an arrogant, rude, verbally abusive owner who has little tolerance for your input and hounds you for money.. He is the proverbial, obnoxious "Mr. Right" and exhibits threatening behavior. The pricing was higher than others.

The guys did a great job with the walkway and steps. They went above and beyond to make it what I wanted and adjusted the project as needed. When there was something that needed to be changed, they were sure to "okay" it with me first and make sure I knew what was happening every step of the way. Will definitely be turning to them for my future projects!

Mike and his crew have been great. He gave us a fair price and his suggestions for our project were wight on target. Our project right now is about 65% done and as you can see I've already given them a 5 star. I've never seen men work with such care and precision. We are having a 65' Nicolock wall put in along with about 500 sq ft. of pavers. They are constantly measuring and leveling to make everything perfect. The whole crew are a pleasure to have working here. Best part of all was his price was in line with all the others. Yes I would recommend this contractor to friends and family.

Arata was not the lowest price we received but both my husband and I felt from our first meeting that the owner knew what he was talking about, had finished jobs to look at, was timely and professional. We are completely satisfied with our beautiful retaining wall. As the job progressed we made several small changes and Mike was very accommodating. He staff were all very organized and polite. At the end of each day they cleaned up and contained their "stuff".

He proposed a lower-cost solution that looked better than what we had come up with, and executed it on-time and well-within budget. I wish I had other projects they could do. April, 2011-- Brought them back for Spring Clean-up, remulching, bordering and some of the BEST new planitngs I have seen.. They worked "clean, fast and hard," and have once again over-fulfilled my expectations. The combined projects really improve the look of the house and yard. YOU should hire them too!

They are very knowledgable about their product. They are punctual and get the job done quickly. Plants were put in just prior to first frost so quality of product is yet to be determined.

I can't say enough good things - innovative design ideas and a skilled balance of not losing site of the big picture while keeping the immediate budget in mind. Their attention to detail surpassed my expectations. All members of Mike's team were friendly, professional and knowledgeable. Mike also has excellent communication skills, shows up when he says he will and was on budget and on time. I have already started planning my next project with them!

Mike Arata was very professional and a pleasure to work with. He has great design ideas and works within your budget. We just completed our backyard/ pool area:patio, 2 walkways and planting beds. Next steps are a new lawn and next year the front of the house. I loved the fact that he took me to the nursery to have me pick out what plants I would like. He asks you about likes/dislikes and comes up with a plan. I also like that he took us to other homes that he had worked on and we got to speak to the homeowners. They all had great things to say about him! I would definitely recommend him to others.
