+ -1 moreThe repair man issued a receipt with terms of applying our $111 towards any repair service done on that 'frig within the next 30 days. ABLE APPLIANCE SERVICE Co also offered a Senior Citizens discount which makes a difference. We felt the repair man was honest and helpful.
Description of Work: (1) SITUATION: Problem described below left us with the choice of either buying a new refrigerator or investing in a service call for troubleshooting and then potential repair costs. (2) PROBLEM: Eight year old refrigerator was keeping things satisfactorily cool in both the freezer & 'frig. However, there was water dripping at a rapid rate into the 'frig compartment through the cool air vents. (3) SOLUTION: We arranged an appointment with ABLE APPLIANCE SERVICE CO. of MILFORD, CT by calling 203-878-8774. The estimated time of arrival was given as a two hour window. He showed up on time and after inspecting our 'frig, then recommended that we simply unplug it for 24 hours. This would unclog any collection of ice within the air vents. We leveled the 'frig and unplugged it for 24 hours. It's been a week now and everything is good.
