"Hello , You Came In For A Wheel Bearing Replacement On A 2007 Toyota Prius With 151,000 Miles On It And We Would Have Discounted The Complete Diagnostic Fee From The Repair Bill , But You Did Not listen to The Service Manager Who Explained That To You , Sorry You Did Understand The Diag Fee Would Be Included In The Total Price , We Do Not Just Install Parts That Another Garage Or Person Said Was Bad , We Allways Confirm That It Is The Actual Problem , So We Are Not Spending Your Money Without Confidence That Replacing That Part Will Fix The Problem , the shop supplies that you paid was one dollar ! The Total Fee Was 64.00 At A Labor Rate Of 119.53 Per Hour .Much Less Than Any Dealer Fee For Diagnostic Of Any Kind , Any Questions Please feel Free To Call The Owner Tyler Rook P.S. The Supply Fee Was Spent On Disinfectant Before giving Your Car Back To You For Your Safety And Health. Thank You For Sharing Your Problem With Us. Sorry We Did Not Just Install The Part That You Wanted To Install From A Diagnosis At Another Shop , Tyler Rook 860-346-8800"
We've used Victor's several times over the years, and would never use anyone else. They're good at what they do, their professionalism is remarkable, and are always courteous and friendly.
I was also pleasantly surprised that their only reaction to it being an "intermittent" problem was that they couldn't be sure to fix it the first time. In the past when I've had intermittent issues with a car, I've been told that there was nothing they could do unless I could replicate the issue, on the spot. But not the team at Victor's.
Within a half an hour, the tech had figured out the problem and fixed it for me. I didn't have to sign anything, pay for anything, or come back. Even though I would rather the issue hadn't occurred at all with the original repair, I was very impressed with the way in which they handled the problem today.
