Work started 11/25/2009. Schedule was very sporadic early in the project -- contractor would frequently arrive late; was a no-show many days. "Finished" the project in mid-January. Less than 48 hours after completion, the ceramic tile floor started to lift. Immediately notified the contractor. He came back to inspect the damage, took a lot of pictures, and said he thought there was a problem with the tile adhesive and that he would contact the manufacturer. More than two weeks went by, with no word back from the contractor. We contacted him again and he agreed to return the following day to begin re-laying the floor. The following day ... he was a no-show. Not even the courtesy of a phone call. The end result -- we are having to do the re-work ourselves.
