It was good, but my stylist was double booked and flustered. I felt like I didn't have all of her attention, and that is not right.

It was good. Jessica is a little odd, but my stylist was great. Very friendly!

They are very thorough. They give a wonderful shampoo and cut. Their prices are good. They are always friendly. I've been with them for 21 years so I do like them. They are just great.

saw the billboards for "Jessica's Color Room" and was thinking I was going to a salon that had very knowledgable colorists on staff. Instead Jessica, gave me stripey, bubblegum pink highlights on my dark brown hair and then said it "looked good". I had to sit through another round of coloring for a total of about 4 hours in that chair. Meanwhile while I was in there, someone I know came in to complain that a whole section of hair had been cut out of her very short hair, by Kim. They would not give her a refund, but instead offered more of the "red" color job that lots of people come out of there with. The place is grungy looking inside.Left a big hole in my pocket I am CURED from trying new salons.

Since I just moved to the area, I brought with me a sheet from my previous salon regarding my hair color. The stylist I was assigned (Kim, I believe) declared that color combination "too neutral" (in other words, too brown) and changed the formulation, based on her color swatches. I wasn't too comfortable with this as I explained to her that my hair doesn't always take color according to what the swatches show. Ultimately, though, I deferred to her judgment because she was the expert. Well, the color is too light and is already turning brassy four days later, which I specifically warned her it had a tendency to do. On top of all this, I was charged $68 for the service. Now I have had my color done for years, and at very good salons but this price was out of bounds, in my opinion, especially since their website lists single process color at $48 (and up). I realize that salons frequently do not tell you what the fee will be up front and this is not the first time I have been surprised with sticker shock at check out, with little to no recourse since the service has already been performed. If that was the only issue, though, I would have accepted it as par for the industry and might consider going back. But given the color problem as well, I do not believe I will return for another service. I did not consider going back to have them correct the color because my hair is pretty fine and cannot take a lot of processing. I was concerned about what might happen if I had two color treatments within a week of one another.
