"Hello Samantha, Thank you for your review and our apologies for the misunderstanding. You first requested a quote from us on April and then reached back to us again for us to start the project on June which is about two months since we first spoke. We gave you a start date which was August 22nd which you agreed on and then weeks later you postponed the work requesting us to move the date up and we then moved it for September 26th. It affected our schedule tremendously but we were happy to accommodate your needs as well. About the misunderstanding on price: we quoted you to paint the walls of certain areas of the house and stripped down a fireplace mantle. We agreed to a certain price to do that since we have records in our email about those areas only. Then, when you saw us again you started adding areas to what was agreed upon which was only to paint the walls and strip fireplace mantle. You wanted us to do ceilings, walls, trim, doors, window sills, door sills and and remove molding and fix a wall plus the fireplace mantle for the same price we first gave you(for walls + fireplace only) hence, we decided to send you a quote and contract including the different prices for completing those extra items for you to understand the price change but refused to accept them. You have the 100% right to refuse it just as we have the same right to not complete your project due to you not accepting a fair price for all of those extra mentioned items above; therefore, we decided not to continue with the project, to limit further complications. Our apologies for the inconvenience but please understand that most painting business does charge extra for added/extra items to be completed as it clearly says in the contract. We thank you again for your review since this is our number 2 review which we really appreciate for our company to be seen and grow. We promised that we will work harder to provide better customer service and communication skills to benefit our existing and future clients."
"Good afternoon Ainsley, You wrote that there were holes and crooked seams and also that there was trim that was replaced. First of all, you are writing a review after 6 months of completing the work and is not fair that you are writing things that never happen. I did my job to your satisfaction because I did a walkthrough with you and you were satisfied with the work. The only missing part of the project was that it was not primed and that was not included in the price I gave you and I was going to do it at no cost to you but I didn't have time that's why I didn't do it."
