Smart Housing LLC hired a person that liked doing doors. Owner said that he did not like doing doors. Joe showed up the first day and removed & installed the basement door (minus the trim and insulation) and the front door (minus the trim and insulation) during artic vortix in CT. Joe and Roger showed up the second day and removed old 9' french door and installed new 9' sliding door. They did not use any caulking on any of the doors before installation. I did not see them use a level or a framing square during installation of any of the doors. Nor did I see them use shims on any of the doors. Joe showed up on 3 rd day by himself and installed storm door on main entrance. Still no insulation on any of the doors except for the sliding door. Days 4 & 5 were taken up installing trim around all three door and insullation as well as caulking. Sliding glass doors were trinmed inside with 1/8" gap at corners. Front door had a small bag of white inserts that Joe took with him. Trying to get plugs for front door for last week and Roger is not returning my phone calls. Rodger finally He also stated that Joe would redo the trim around the patio door. On Thursday Joe called me and said that he would be coming to my house to do the work on the next Tuesday. He called me on Tuesday @ 10 AM and stated that the first Lowe's he had tried did not have any 3.5"X10' ling colonial trim. He would try another Lowe's and give me a call back. He called me back at 11:30 AM and stated that the second Lowe's was also out of the colonial trim. I asked him to mail me the white dots. That was 3 weeks ago. Do not hire Smart Housing LLC to do door work for you from Lowe's.
Description of Work: Replaced 2 (1 basement and 1 main entry door along with a storm) doors and 1 9' wide sliding door.
