Excellent. He was prompt, neat and completed the work on time. The quality was great! I look forward to using him for an interior project and would highly recommend him to anyone needing an experienced carpenter for remodeling or roofing.

I am planning on putting my condo on the market and needed some small repairs and painting done. My friend highly recommended Greg. Of the 3 contractors I interviewed, his price was the best. I also felt he was the most creative as well. Another plus is that his wife paints! If I had one complaint, he isn't the best at responding to texts and/or calls, but once he does, it is WELL WORTH IT. The work was impeccable, my kitchen and bathroom were left spotless after he left and the price was right. The paint job was outstanding as well. The use quality paints and have great suggestions! I would DEFINITELY recommend Friends & Family Remodeling and will definitely be using them for all future home repairs. Thank you!!

This guy is a nightmare! He assured us the job would take 6 weeks to complete. It has now been over 5 months of hell and the job is not even half done. He installed the wrong windows and framed them unevenly. Exterior cedar shakes are broken with the flashing showing. There are large gaps between the shakes and some are falling off. The porch roof leaks. The porch decking is loose and not secured. He neglected to install steps creating a safety hazard. He neglected to re-install the motion lights creating a safety hazard. Drywall is a mess. There are large holes in the drywall, tape is showing, there is a major sag on the master bedroom ceiling. There was a major leak in the family room because the Contractor neglected to re-install a downspout and flashing. This caused damage to drywall he had stored in this room. Contractor installed the damaged drywall, knowing of the problem. here are numerous open, exposed wires to electrical outlets and switches, creating a safety hazard. A pipe froze in February causing our house temperature to plummet. This was due to contractor neglect. We also lost heat for a second time, due to contractor error. He improperly installed a thermostat causing the wires to break loose, creating sparks. He neglected to re-install many gutters and downspouts creating water issues. There are light fixtures hanging by wires from the ceilings. Contractor caused a major leak and damage to our kitchen ceiling when he cut into an existing second floor waste pipe. This caused stains and a hole in the kitchen ceiling. This contractor, Greg Barker, is NOT a licensed electrician, plumber or HVAC person, yet he has performed all 3 tasks on our home. It has been 2 months since Mr. Barker performed any work on our home. His work performance is sub-standard and shoddy. We have made numerous attempts to contact Mr. Barker. He has ignored our pleas. He has taken $36,600.00 of our hard-earned money. Mr. Barker even had the nerve to bill us for a third payment of $17,319.00 "upon finished drywall". We pointed out to Mr. Barker that the drywall was nowhere near completion due to damage made by him and many unfinished areas. We also pointed out that there are numerous open items that needed his attention to be corrected and completed up to that point. Mr. Barker's reply to this was rude and demeaning. He has a habit of blaming his employees for the screw-ups, then in the next breath admits he ultimately is to blame because he should have been here to oversee their work. Mr. Barker admittedly takes on more work than he can handle. He has a bad habit of badmouthing his customers and has admitted to having problems with customers in the past and ongoing. DO NOT HIRE THIS CONTRACTOR.
