The problem was the sale of the contents. When he looked at the contents, he estimated we would get $2000-$3000 from their sale. In fact we only got $275. So it cost us about $800 to dispose of the contents of the house. I would have been better off renting a dumpster for $400 and just throwing away everything in the house. Being off by a factor of 10 on the estimate for what stuff will sell for is unacceptable in my opinion.
