Ben did a fantastic job. He took the time to go over different options, and gave me a very fair price. He worked carefully but diligently to take care of a job that most keyboard technicians would not be able to perform.
Description of Work: I needed the action on my Kawai wooden key digital controller, so I needed someone who had experience working with Acoustic Pianos, but would also be open to working with digital equipment.

We have a seventy-three year old Knabe console which has been in our family for sixty years. We have had it tuned throughout the years, but this past week was the first time Ben serviced our piano. He did a complete evaluation of the piano and provided us with a list of options to consider, given the piano's age and value. Among the repairs we chose was the re-pinning of ten hammer flanges in the center of the piano. Given those repairs, and Ben's careful tuning, we now enjoy quality sound and keys that no longer stick! We were very impressed with Ben's knowledge, the quality of his work, his professionalism and his sincerity; he really cares! It is without hesitation that we recommend The Connecticut Piano Company to anyone looking for quality service at a reasonable price. We guarantee Ben Rocke will not disappoint!

the piano tuner arrived on time, was polite and professional. It took slightly less than two hours to tune the piano. When it was done he played a Chopin Nocturne - the piano never sounded better. I will gladly use his services again.
Description of Work: he tuned a badly out of tune upright piano.
