I asked Gerry to quote on the repair described above. He gave me a quote of about $250, which was comparable to other quotes. A few days later, he called me and advised that he had replaced a complete door that matched mine. The panel on that door that I needed was in good condition. He offered to give it to me. I asked for a price to install it, and he quoted $95. I hired him, and he did a good job, other than one bolt that wasn't tightened. I was very appreciative of the cost savings with a perfectly acceptable substitute.

Called Affordable Doors on a Monday morning. Gerry came out an gave me an estimate that afternoon, the door was ordered, and the work was all completed by the following Monday morning. Excellent experience. The door looks great!

I used Gerry twice within as many days on two separate properties. I was able to get both appointments extremely quickly (no more than 1 day out). He is very prompt, let me know what the price was going to be up front (and stuck by it) and did fantastic work in a very reasonable amount of time. On both occasions he went above and beyond the call by providing additional services and in general taking great care and pride in his work. I highly recommend Affordable Doors to anyone

The job was fixed fine, however I consider it to be expensicve, Charging us $300 for about 30 minutes of his time and maybe $50 in parts is excessive.
Response from Affordable Doors
"Customer was quoted cost before work was scheduled, time to get there, time to get back, gas, insurance, parts and labor total cost is still before industry standard pricing for the work preformed"

Professional, prompt, efficient, skillful, neat work; very patient and knowledgeable in explaining how to operate the new garage opener. Gerry's wife Donna took my original call and was very kind and helpful.

Gerry responded to our phone call same day and set up an convenient early morning appointment for a few days later. Requested information about our door openers ahead of time so he would bring the right key pad for installation. Works quickly and is very professional.

Initial phone message was returned within a couple of hours, and appointment for inspection and estimate was made for next day. Owner kept appointment, made reasonable estimate and scheduled work for two working days later. His employee arrived five minutes before scheduled hour and performed all planned work according to specifications. In addition, he suggested the addition of weather stripping, which I had originally planned for but had later decided to delay installing.

Affordable Doors came out and was able to determine the problem and offered a free quote to fix it. We ended up upgrading the quote to get a better model of door opener since the cost was lower than we had expected. They came and installed, rewired the whole thing in a couple of hours. We were very happy with the entire solution and the work performed.

After e-mailing Gerry photos of my broken spring, he took the time to come out in advance of my scheduled appointment to make sure that he had the proper spring to install. I'm very pleased with my repair experience. Gerry is knowledgeable, professional and friendly. I feel confident in recommending him and his company to others.
