I called them on 6/1/2010. They called back on the 3rd and scheduled a date for service on 6/8. Someone came to the house, looked at the TV, advised the problem and stated they had to order the part. I had to pay $206.70 for the labor portion that was not under warranty and they insisted it be paid up front in cash or charge. I paid it with a debit card. I never heard from them after that. On the 14th I called them and was advised that the part would arrive on the 16th or "worst case scenario, 6/23". I never heard from them again. I called once again on the 21st for another update and they said they get back with me on the 22nd. I also called Sylvania back again with my complaint and they said they'd look into it as well. On the 22nd I received a voice mail from Phil at this repair company and he said the part was on back order, not available anywhere with any distributor, and did not know when he'd get one, the order could not be canceled and, quote, "we have no other options". I was back and forth with the business and Sylvania as well. I was promised by Sylvania that it would be taken care of and I'd have my TV back this week. I called again today (the 24th) to get a "fix" date and they said they'd never heard from Sylvania and had not received the part. I called Sylvania 3 more times and they were trying to help and advised that there were plenty of parts everywhere. They further found out that Pinnacle was having credit difficulties with their distributor. I doubt I'll get my TV back still and I'm angry. So in the mean time, I'll continue to pay my cable bill and Netflix for no reason while I wait on Pinnacle to run a proper business.
Description of Work: I was given their phone number by Sylvania for repair service on my Sylvania TV. We were still under certain warranty for parts, but not labor.
