+ 2 moreThey are currently doing the work for me. I have been very happy with the quality of their work so far. They have been very professional. They have helped me out above and beyond what I hired them for. We had a flood in this area few weeks ago. So I called Bill Lamphere who is the owner of the company. He came out and brought a generator to remove all the stuff so that I could get the water out of the basement. They arranged for dumpsters and trash removal. So they have been incredibly helpful. They are a little pricey but it’s worth it for the quality of work and for the overall experience on the extra help. They have given me a lot of advice. So they are pricey compared to some of their competitors in the area. The quality of their work has been fantastic. When I was first looking for a plumber to check out something, I had another plumber who I had called few days in a row but with no response. So I then called up Mr. Lamphere and he was here within 15 minutes. I can give him a call anytime I need anything. If he doesn’t answer, then he gets back within 2 to 3 hours. They have been on time every time and I haven’t had any jobs running longer than planned. They were talking with me through the whole process while doing the estimates. My wife and I walked through the entire house with the owner. He took down everything and asked us exactly what we wanted to have done. He also gave us some suggestions because what we wanted was above our budget. He has been great with that and has always been very professional.
Description of Work: I have hired Lamphere Plumbing & Heating for plumbing, remodeling and heating & AC work. They are restructuring a portion of the roof and redoing a lot of the shingles on parts of the old roof. They are installing a central heating & air system. They are remodeling 2 bathrooms and a kitchen. They are doing some plumbing and some work related to the washer and dryer. They have installed a shower in one of the bathrooms too.

+ -1 moreBill Lamphere did an exceptional job. He did not cut corners and I am certain that the jobs were done correctly. He is honest and trustworthy. I will be calling him the next time I am in need of any work done on my house that I cannot do myself.
Description of Work: When remodeling our kitchen, we discovered that we would have to change our baseboard heat to a toe-kick heater in order to add cabinetry. Being new to the area, I looked in the phone book and chose the only plumber (yes, a plumber for my heater...it's hot water heat) in my specific town. He did change out my heater and it turns out that he also does other home improvement work as well. We ended up hiring him to cut out 1/2 of a wall in our kitchen and install our countertops, sink, dishwasher, and ice maker line for the fridge.
