Bill Lamphere was very responsive from the initial contact to the completion of the work.  He completed all the work within the
original estimate.  We had three(3) bathrooms totally gutted/upgraded and a Master Bedroom walk-in closet added. Bill came to the house and discussed with my wife what she wanted done.  He was very helpful with recommendations and when she gave him some of her ideas, he was open and supportive; not once did Bill ask her ?Why do you want to do that?? (unlike another bathroom remodeling contractor who came to the house).  Whenever you remodel multiple rooms in your house at the same time, it can be very disrupting to the family living in the house.  Bill and his guys went out of their way to make sure that they minimized the impacts to my family.  Prior to leaving for the day they made sure that the job site was cleaned up and all their tools were put
away.  Their work quality was exceptional.  I would highly recommend Lamphere Plumbing & Heating HVAC to anyone that needed to update their home.

tech showed up on time to perform install. took about 4 hours to install . overall good job!!

Took just a little bit longer to arrive then they said, but not bad. The plumber was cordial, got right to work, made a few small improvements that were not on the work order, did a quality job, made a few suggestions, cleaned up the mess, and left. The whole experience was quick and painless. I would definite use them again.

It went well. Had troubles scheduling with another plumber for 2 weeks. Small pin-hole leak in water pipe developed into major spray over weekend with major water loss and flooding into hall and downstairs bathroom. Husband Chris shut off water for most of Sat eve and Sunday. Found Lamphere Plumbing on Angie's List, called, and scheduled appointment for Monday 1 p.m. Confirmed time with secretary; work crew was 1 hour late due to earlier job. All work completed in timely manner, about 2-2 1/2 hours.

It was a long time in planning due to the fact this was a project being funded by the VA with lots of paperwork and we had to follow certain criteria as the VA has their rules for the grant. Mr. Lamphere was patient and after the architects plans were reviewed by the VA we were given a start date and the work was split up in certain increments and finished then inspected by a VA inspector. The project took longer than expected but there were weather problems, and other issues. Mr. Lamphere was very easy to work with and his men are talented carpenters, plumbers, tile setters, electricians and concrete men. At the end of the project they cleaned up the entire area and re-seeded the yard where heavy equipment was used and the dumpster sat. I will say at the end of each day the work area was cleaned and my house never felt like it was and quot;under constructionand quot;. Also, for over two months my husband was in a rehab facility and I had to leave them to be with him. I was always impressed that the workers were careful to lock up and were completely trustworthy. I will recommend this company and I am thrilled with my renovations that have made life a little easier for this vet. K.P.

First class job. Involved installing attic air handler in the heat of the summer. They stayed on the job until it was completed.

Our tankless water heater had been flaky and finally broke completely the day of the superbowl.
Bill did a great job evaluating and fixing our tankless heater system.He worked with the distributor to diagnose the problem, obtain parts, and make the repairs.
During the process, Bill did thorough analysis and provided honest advice and opinions. The repair required extensive and quot;surgeryand quot; on the heater - the main board, pump, and other parts needed to be replaced. In the end, the repair did the trick. Since the repair, the heater has worked flawlessly.
I would use Lamphere Plumbing and Heating again and am happy to recommend the company to others.

We received the estimate in September 2011 and accepted it. The work started on time October 1, 2011. The personnel doing the work were on-site at the agreed upon time daily and the water was restored daily prior to them leaving. The personnel were very neat, picking up or vacuuming up messes and dust caused by disturbing the sheetrock. They also pointed out some efficiencies that could be gained with minor changes and performed them. Obviously during the course of the work some emergencies arose for them and they notified us of these as they occurred. The painter was also very good and finished his work quickly and neatly.

WONDERFUL It was done in the exact time as promised.

We were experiencing colder than normal hot water. He identified the problem as being a worn out coil in my boiler. I thought there was a problem with the tempering or mixing valve, mixing in too much cold water with the hot water. He came over quickly and completed the work in a timely fashion.
