Thank you Dr. Z.
The hospital itself is a converted barn on the green in Lebanon. Very charming. The facilities may not be the newest, but you can tell the hospital has been well maintained. What really makes this the best vet we've dealt with is that when something goes awry with our giant, goofy dog (for example if we've found a suspicious tick, or the dog is throwing up incessantly in the car, or his paw has swollen to twice its size for no apparent reason, or he's eaten something weird—all real examples) then we can call Dr. Z's office and ask him what to do. And for the most part we'll get a remedy over the phone. This just saves us from driving all the way to Lebanon and also from paying for appointments we really don't need. What an excellent vet!
