Tom was very professional, knowledgeable and thorough... he told me this was a Norway Rat and a young one, which means parents are around. he set traps all around the foundation and told me what to expect. He checked the cellar for any signs of them inside and found none.. So I guess we got to them in time!! I had just lost my dogs 2 weeks ago and the pests move it.
Tom will be back next week to refill the traps if necessary, and recheck in a month, and he took the rat with him!!
Would I recommend him? You Betcha!!!

He is very prompt in keeping his appointments; I have never had to call him to remind him of our visits; he has called us to remind us. He is efficient and he corrected the problem that he had; he is great. The first visit is $150 and subsequent visits are $75. I thought his price was excellent; I have no pests.

I called Tom for some carpenter ants and possible termites. Where others interviewed over the phone and threw a price at me, he inspected the home and found a minor ant problem. No termites, no extra work, no extra money. He also treated some out buildings and threw in mouse traps for the same price. It seems that all the exterminators have similar pricing but Tom's customer service put him over the top.

Tom treated the problem quickly and at a very reasonable price. He is the most resposive and responsible contractor of any kind that I have encountered in a very long time. He does what he says he is going to do when he says he is going to do it. I have already scheduled him to come back next month for a second treatment and I will have him back at the beginning of next year and every year thereafter to get ahead of any potential ant problem.

Tom McGuire's service has been great from the start. He was referred to us by a neighbor and we initially contacted him when we discovered an infestation of ants in the home we had just purchased. He arrived right on time (always does) and treated the problem and the ants were gone. We never worry about pest problems, even though our home is in a rural area.
