Plumbing
$25,000
The price originally seemed to be very high and when I read into what they were charging me for I realized that they were estimating to do a lot more work that I was looking for. They gave me the estimate for adding radiant heat to the entire home and a new furnace, when I was only looking for radiant heat in one room. They were nice and they seemed to know what they were talking about while they were out. The guy was decent, but a little bit high pressure. I got the impression that they probably do good work, but it is very, very high priced. I would not use them in the future.

Plumbing, Drain Cleaning

Triple A came at time agreed. Said they had to jackhammer the frozen ground near septic tank to run the snake from there rather than running the snake from the toilet. This added approx. $500 to the price. They also ran a camera through the line that added another $350. They found 2 places where the plumbing pipes weren't glued together. This added another $300. Triple A also stated that all of my plumbing had to be replaced because of a 'negative flow'. To do this would cost $3,600 dollars. This is a 900 sq. ft. ranch. They did clear the blocked drain. I called another plumber in the area to see if he thought my plumbing needed to be replaced due to a 'negative flow' & he told me that the plumbing was fine.
