Description of Work: We had a low bearing wall that needed to be removed in between our kitchen and dining room. They are easy to work with and we have used them for past projects as well. We will definitely use them again.

+ 1 moreThe project overall went extremely well. There were some delays due to rain but that was to be expected.
Description of Work: Brian was very attentive to our project and finished it in a timely manner.The spiral staircase in the front of the house was removed and the new porch was added and done. The retaining walls, porch addition and stairways are now much safer to navigate. We also used them for siding as well as a new roof. He also remodeled our bathroom too. We have been very satisfied with all the work that has been done. We are very pleased with all the work that has been done.

+ -1 moreI had 2 beams that had sustained termite damage so I contacted Brian from StoneBridge for a quote to repair/replace them. Brian had done a small remodel on a powder room for me in 2010 so I already knew his attention to detail and professionalism would provide a job well done. I have found Brian to be honest, hardworking, and responsive to my phone calls and e-mails. From the initial inspection to the final day he and his crew arrived on time, stayed till the work was complete and the site cleaned up. I felt very comfortable giving him a key to my house so he could do the work when I was not able to be at home. He started the job on the day stated and he and his crew cleaned up the site afterward. I had gotten a couple other estimates that came in at about the same amount (~3,300) but I had difficulty getting them to come out at my convenience or answering my calls and/or e-mails. Brian came out within a couple days of my first call and when the actual beam replacement came in $400 under his original quote it was a nice surprise. When any issues come up he and his crew go the extra mile to make things right. While doing the replacement they repaired a loose handrail for no cost. Also, to access the new beam from the outside they had to open up the steps to my front door. When done even the front step had been shored up and made sturdier than before. (Although I will have to deal with that front porch eventually their fix gives me some time before I have to deal with it.) My house is now safe and sound and ready for further much needed renovations thanks to the skill of StoneBridge Craftsmen.
Description of Work: Partial Beam replacement’ s Prep and demolition Remove electrical boxes away from beam (didn't need any re wiring). Shore up steal piping connected to beams. Install shoring wall along beam. Drill joists and studs for ½ “ diameter x 4” long bolts. Install bolts. Under cut toenails on joists and studs. Cut out beam only to 1st post for both (drilled and checked the rest of the beam and it seems just fine to leave the remainder parts. Beam installation Beam pocket is currently open to outside and will be closed up then coated on the outside with a parge coat. Currently the front porch has some settling issues and will need to be attended to at another point. Protect beam in pocket with water and ice shield or tar. Install 1.75” lvls”. Fasten together 3 lvls for each beam. Fasten joist ends and stud ends to beams. Clean up Remove shoring walls, Sweep up, Remove old beam.
