I have found Brian to be honest, hardworking, and responsive to my phone calls and e-mails. From the initial inspection to the final day he and his crew arrived on time, stayed till the work was complete and the site cleaned up. I felt very comfortable giving him a key to my house so he could do the work when I was not able to be at home. He started the job on the day stated and he and his crew cleaned up the site afterward. I had gotten a couple other estimates that came in at about the same amount (~3,300) but I had difficulty getting them to come out at my convenience or answering my calls and/or e-mails. Brian came out within a couple days of my first call and when the actual beam replacement came in $400 under his original quote it was a nice surprise.
When any issues come up he and his crew go the extra mile to make things right. While doing the replacement they repaired a loose handrail for no cost. Also, to access the new beam from the outside they had to open up the steps to my front door. When done even the front step had been shored up and made sturdier than before. (Although I will have to deal with that front porch eventually their fix gives me some time before I have to deal with it.)
My house is now safe and sound and ready for further much needed renovations thanks to the skill of StoneBridge Craftsmen.
