Anything Plumbing

About us

I do most of the work and I have an apprentice most of the time. I do prefer service work but will do anything plumbing or heating. I am restricted with my CT S-3 heating license because I can not work on air conditioning or install sheetmetal duct work. We are always busy and take are calls first come first serve. We are always willing to help even if we don't make money so don't hesitate to call or contact us, we love to help.

Ryan and his assistant showed up exactly when he had said they would. We reviewed the work I had asked to have done, and he graciously allowed me to add a fifth item (the installation of the toilet). In less than two hours, all five tasks were completed (!?!), along with appropriate clean up. All repairs were tested. Also, Ryan explained to me that handheld shower wands usually include a flow restrictor that makes sense when one has city water, but which needlessly restrict flow when dealing with well water, and he removed both restrictors (along with a fair amount of grit/sand!). Once the repairs were done, he disappeared to help bandage his assistant's thumb and quickly reappeared with a printed invoice that detailed all the work done and parts used. From start to finish I felt that he and his assistant were courteous, professional, fast, and did a terrific job. I thought the price charged was very reasonable. All in all I would recommend this plumber whole-heartedly and without reservation. Nice guys who did a terrific job!

We were having issues with our furnace and were without heat. It was winter and very cold out. We tried calling and left numerous messages for several repair companies found in the phone book. None of which answered the phone or returned our messages. I called a representative for Angie's list and upon obtaining a membership was given a list of local plumbing and heating professionals in my area. I tried the first number on my list, Ryan from "Anything Plumbing". Not only did he answer his phone, he called me back and fit us into his already busy schedule a couple of hours later. Ryan diagnosed the problem and fixed the furnace promptly. It was an excellent experience and I would highly recommend their service.

The job went well.  The removal of the existing furnace and the install of the new furnace went better than expected.   He also replaced the fuel feed line from our oil tank to the burner.  With the job completing faster than he had thought it might ,Ryan reduced the inital quote and passed the savings on to us.
P.S. I'm not very good with the rating system on this site.  There are some catagories that could have been graded between good and excellent.

Excellent. Ryan was there as promised and did a thorough walk-thru of the house's plumbing. He and his assistant did an expert job of installing the cutoff valves, cleaned up after themselves and were done in short order. Very professional.

Furnace backfired and needed to be serviced during extremely cold weather. Called Anything and guys came right out and service and cleaned up the mess very well. Extremely professional and courteous and would recommend to anyone.

I had a leak from someplace on the boiler and was not sure of the source. These folks showed up on time, immediately located the problem, and knew exactly how to fix it. They knew which valves to close to prevent the boiler from draining when the drain spigot was removed, quickly replaced the offending spigot, reopened all the valves, and were done. I was so pleased with their work, that I called them in again to service and clean the oil burner. Again they were right on time. They did a very thorough job cleaning and servicing. They even took the time to remove deposits that had fallen into the firebox underneath the heating coils; something that other previous services should have done, but never did. Burner runs much much better as a result. They were competively priced with others I have used but did a much better job.

As experienced previously, on the appointed day, Anything Plumbing arrived exactly on time, fully prepared for work. Ryan had made several significant suggestions vis a'vis the coordination of all contractor activities to optimize progress and minimize hindrances. Ryan's previous association with the other contractors' families proved valuable during this time in that he was able to cement good working relations. Anything Plumbing was adept in working around the other activities without impacting job performance and finished all tasks in a timely manner.

We met with Ryan and discussed options as respects available heating units, performance, efficiency, etc. On the designated day, Ryan and his helper arrived on time and immediately set to the tasks at hand. Care was taken to minimize interruptions to our day as they worked. The old furnace was removed and disposed of. They worked steadily through the day, finishing earlier than expected. Every phase of the job proceeded in an excellent manner.
