Don and his son were fantastic. They are professional, timely, knowledgable, efficient and deliver exactly as they say they will and then some. I'll be hiring them again for many other projects.

Don and A Plus Construction did a wonderful job on the rehab. Professional, prompt, courteous, knowledgeable, wonderful work. Would hire them again in a second.

It went really good. I am hiring A Plus Construction next year to come back and put in two more skylights.. and clean out our gutters. One of our buildings will need new shingles in 2018 and I will ask for a bid from him.

Don was able to order the door and hardware for me . Picked up the door and delivered to my home. Removed old door and installed new door which required new trim, new threshold,new hardware, and lastly sanded down and stained the door. The stain I chose was a little too light on the sample but Don was able to work with it applying several coats until the color was perfect!! I was concerned that the finish on the door was too shiny. He was able to purchase the final coating with a matte finish which was exactly what I was looking for. He was very attentive and has a great eye for detail. He will continue working until you are satisfied ! The door looks beautiful and adds so much to our home!! We have used Don for many renovations, new roof, new addition, renovation of bathroom and kitchen and basement. He also refinished our hard wood floors. Removed a chimney and installed huge floor to ceiling windows. All of his work is outstanding and I get many many compliments on his work. Extremely hard worker and very honest!

Don does great work at a fair price. The job was done professionally and quickly. We had to wait awhile for him to get started but it's because he's in high demand.

Don and his team were wonderful.  Work and clean up was completed much faster than I thought it would be. All members of Don's team were professional and courteous and took care while inside my home as to not damage my floors or walls. When a window showed up with a crack in it, Don replaced it immediately rather than installing broken material. I will definitely look to Don for any future construction needs that arise. I would, and have already, recommend A Plus Construction to anyone.

Firstly, he is a super nice person.  Very professional and not out to overcharge you. He did some work for my 82 year old mother and she was very happy. But she is home all day and he can come anytime as she is retired.
For myself it was more difficult. After three weeks of telephone tag (beginning of Nov ) , we finally met to prepare a quote. Indicated I had Dec 18th & 19th off to do the work.He removed the ceiling fan at the initial estimate visit. (Nov 28th), called a few days later to quote, set a date to install it for Dec 5th after 6pm.  Bad weather, no show, no call.  I called him early morning  Dec 12th, he came at 4:30 pm that night to install the fan motor as I was booked with appts that day.  Made a date for Dec 18th to do some painting.  Indicated he would text or call if it was a problem.  No show, no text, no call.  In my experience, he does not conduct phone business after 5pm or on the weekends.  I left my initial message on a Friday afternoon, he left me a message on Monday morning at about 9am indicating he had time that day and could come out and look at what I needed.  I left a voice message for him when I got home, and again he called a few days later, in the morning, even after I had indicated I worked and got home after 6 pm or had Fridays off. He seems to be well suited for the retirees, but not the working population.
I would also add that I did not get a written estimate for the several items quoted.  I do not know if a discount for being an Angie's list member was applied.  I did not ask my mother if she got a written bill or a senior discount.  I do not think she did.

Broken tilt-in window, on a Saturday, called A Plus Construction and got an immediate call back. He tried to make a connection with me on Saturday but it was impossible with his schedule. Since I had maneuvered the window back in place temporarily, I told him to stop by on Monday if he had the chance. He did stop by after calling, checked the window, explained the cost of a new part or a whole new window. He was very helpful. I told him I would think about what I wanted to do. He was courteous, professional, and I would hire him in a minute if necessary.

Don was very personable, fast, neat and reasonably priced! I will call him when needed in future.

Everything went great. Don was there the same day I called him. I definitely recommend him 100 percent. He can do anything!!:)

Don was very professional. He managed to match my paint perfectly to my old one. Walls came out perfect.

Don is a great general contractor. His team had my rental property's basement fixed neatly. They are very reliable, pleasant to work with. I will hire and recommend anyone I know to hire A Plus Construction for the future home remodel/repair project.

The work went really well and the transformation to our home with the new siding and the new windows is unbelievable!!! Don and his crew were knowledgeable, professional, friendly, and always had our best interest. Don always said "I am only happy if you are happy." Our 1961 home has had a beautiful renovation done to it and we give Don and his crew our highest recommendation and plan to use then again soon for interior work.

Don and his crew did an outstanding job on removal of the old roof and installation on the new roof!! We would give them our highest recommendation!!!!!

Before the job started, we decided to handle the demolition of the original basement ceiling, in addition to purchasing the lights. Once that was finished, we called Don to schedule a start time. He showed up on time, at the agreed upon date. He also very clearly explained the days and time-frames that he would be completing the work.

At the completion of each day's work, the basement was vacuumed and cleaned up. Throughout the project, Don and his team were punctual, friendly and courteous.

The job itself posed a series of challenges, mostly due to the plumbing configuration in the ceiling. We're extremely pleased with the way Don and his team managed to frame around the piping, in addition to a clever design to level off an area around the stairway.

At the completion of the job, Don took the time to walk us through each room, and how it was handled. The final product looks amazing, and we couldn't be happier with the way it turned out! We highly recommend A Plus Construction and plan on using them in them for future work at our house.

He was very good, he was very helpful, and I think his prices are reasonable. It was a good experience.

I was able to observe a good part of the work since I was on the job sight much of the time. The knew what they were doing and didn,t waste time. They were very competent. If a problem came up, they knew how to solve it.
