Antonio was incompetent. I am an ex-mortgage banker and I sold WAMU products in the past. I knew exactly what I wanted and what program would be best for me. I provided him with a printed mortgage application and offered to provide it in electronic file format. When he entered the data into WAMU's system, he made many errors (entered my wife's B-day as mine, listed one of my employers as my wife, etc). Five times I requested that he fax me a Good Faith Estimate (GFE) before he finally sent one. He submitted the application to Underwriting for the wrong program. He did not order the appraisal in a timely manner, delaying closing by a week. He quoted closing costs that were inaccurate. I had to meet with his supervisor to try to fix all the mistakes. Even so, the closing costs were still not correct at closing. I am trying to resolve that issue after the fact.
