Description of Work: Redid front half of roof, failed to flash where roof met house. This was not discovered until 3 years later when my house was infested by bees and squirels. When we called to bring this to their attention they said only that the warrentee had lapsed. They refused even to come over and look at the problem. I would not use the again ever and I tell my friends the same thing.

Primary flashing was installed when the original roof was installed. Flashing is rarely changed because it is protected by the siding and the roofing. If it was damaged or missing it wol have been installed where needed. Our company installed a roof on the front side of the house in 2001 at a cost of $3,900 dollars and not $5,000 dolllars. The fact that the roof never leaked (even after three years) is proof that the work was done properly. The customer was given faulty information from her beekeeper as to how a roof should be installed.Making claims that unnamed neighbors and friends were also dissatified with our company are unfounded and false. There are no claims made to that statement.

There is a variety of reasons why a chimney leaks. Chimney work ranges from being relatively expensive to very expensive. There are cases where entire chimneys need to be pulled down and reconstructed. Our approach was to make the most obvious chimney repairs first and then determine the effectiveness of the repair. [Member Name] was not happy with that approach and became upset. We could have done an entire entire chimney rehab (whether it needed the work or not) but that would have been very expensive and make the customer pay for work that may not have been needed. I am sure if we used that approach he would have complained that the job would have been too expensive. Each contractor has his method of solving problems. It's never productive when the customer thinks he know more than the contractor or becomes impatient while the contractor is honestly and professionally trying to solve an elusive problem.

Description of Work: They repaired our gutters and a leak in our slate roof. It's hard to find quality service providers who work on slate roofs. Two people completed the work in a few hours. Their salesperson, John Ocone, is very knowledgeable, on-time, thorough and makes a sketch of the roof so his people know where to go. I like him a lot. It's a good company to work with.
