On the basement finishing, I tried to keep the costs down. He worked closely with me on how to reduce. He broke out some of the costs between a simple build-out, with the costs of a bathroom and other amenities. He did a lot of research for us on different flooring choices and prices. We ended up using a rubber floor which he installed. He is meticulous and detailed oriented. His workmanship is excellent. Took it from cement walls/floors to a welcoming playroom/movie room.
Hired Walter for the basement after he remodelled (actually gutted) the 1970s main and master bathrooms (Dark brown tub, toilet etc). He hooked us up with great tile and cabinet suppliers as well as granite/stone countertop vendors to advise and coordinate colors. I got sick of making choices and let him pick the paint colors, came out great.
Very easy to work with, professional, responsive. Great communicator, we ended up texting back and forth on quick items. He made the renovations painless, very little disruptions and left the space spotless every night.
