The inspection was a farce. We received a list of very minor repairs that needed to be done along with a couple of recommendations for system replacement due to age in the future. The inspector did not go up on the roof. If he had, he would have seen how soft the roof was. My wife notice the porch roof leaking during our remodeling project as the insulation was wet. Our contractor walked the entire roof and said it was an emergency to replace it. Sure enough 1500 sq feet of plywood of a 2000 sq foot roof had to be replaced. It was soft, splintering and wet. The splintering and disintegration should have also been visible from the attic hatchway. I am out $12,500 because of his negligence or laziness, I am not sure which. Do NOT use this company under any circumstances.

Amazing, Brad was extremely professional and thorough. I took notes as he walked me through every aspect of my home and easy improvements to make. I found him through Angie’s List and my realtor was extremely impressed with Brad as well.

Brad of the Certified Home was incredibly thorough and helpful. He crawled under decks and porches and inspected the attic which did not have any board to walk on. He was constantly providing insight into small projects that would improve the quality and efficiency of the home. He was incredibly detailed in his explanations, providing options to choose from and how they differ from each other. Overall Brad was simply a pleasure to do business with. My realtor informed me that Brad was trained by one the most respected home inspectors in the industry and was impressed I was able to find such a qualified individual. Brad is well worth the price and I would recommend him to all who require a home inspection.

We enjoyed working with Brad and would use him again in the future. He performed in a timely manner and did a through job. He took the time to explain in detail all the items that needed to be corrected and how to do it. We would highly recommend him for your next job!

Brad Lareau and his company The Certified Home were a pleasure to work with from start to finish.  Online booking, online paperwork, online payment made everything easy.  Brad showed up early, he was efficient and thorough with his inspection, and best of all he did a great job of educating me about all aspects of the house and its systems. After the inspection with Brad, I was no longer worried, as part of Brad's service includes his promise to help me with any questions I may have about the house in the future.  With Brad, I now have a future consultant who can help me understand and give me guidance when I have a question about anything in my home.  What a great deal!  I would love to work with Brad again in the future when the time comes to buy or sell another home.  Brad was the best!
