Dr Dellamonica is great. He has been my vet for about a decade. We have a great working relationship. He knows how I feel about my dogs. He always goes the extra mile and knows I don't want to take any chances. I will always go the extra mile for their care and he understands that. He is perfectly fine if I wish to see other specialists as well. He once talked to a pain specialist about the care of one my dogs. He will really do anything necessary for proper care.

I saw them in March. I like their way with the dogs. I like their dog side manner! Their facilities are very nice. I have never gone to any other vet, I can't compare prices. They are professional and punctual.

Guilford Veterinary staff are great. It is easy to get an appointment there. Waiting room issues are managed well. They are convenient for me. They stock various special food items. I am very happy with them. I chose them because they were recommended.

I've been using GVH for all pets past and present and they always provide excellent care for my pets. The doctors, techs, and administrators are always professional and friendly and they go the extra mile to help out when your pet is ill. The new addition to their facility helps them to deliver more and better service than ever and the recent open house was very informative and obviously a lot of work went into the preparation for the tour of the building. I have three other vet offices within a quarter mile of where I live but I still travel the 10 miles plus to GVH to make sure my pet is in the best care available.

I decided to switch over to them because I used them previously with all my other pets, so I have known about them for about 2 years. It is also a very clean organized practice. The staff is efficient to manage the number of clients plus their pets, which I think is important.

Dr. Deborah Ackles is WONDERFUL. On a Saturday, she waited for me to make the long trip down from West Hartford to personally euthanize my precious cat. She had previously operated on him and found the widespread cancer. She had actually called me from outside the operating room to discuss my options. We did try chemo, but eventually, my cat decided he didn't want to do it any more. Dr. Deborah Ackles has done emergency service for maybe 5 of my cats. I have traveled long distances to bring cats to her. She knows the latest medications, and gave one of my cats 5 extra years with a new med. She is also an ultrasound expert, at reasonable cost, and permits me to stay with my cat. Bravo!

I feel very strongly about them. They are so compassionate and just an awesome company! I have used them for 15 years. My dog stopped breathing on the way there and when we got there, they brought him back to life for a short time so that I could say goodbye to him. They are the best.
