It was a mess. They used the wrong finish in the dining room and they refused to fix it. We had them paint while we were away, and when we came back home they had our TV set to Mexican wrestling. I'm not sure they were focused enough on our project. Also, they didn't clean up very well after themselves, but everything else was fine.

It took a while (3 weeks - on an off), but we weren't keeping a schedule, so that was fine. I think if we had specified a timeline, Ed would have accommodated. That said, the crew showed up regularly at 730 sharp, and worked into the evenings. There was a ton of scraping involved, and not a fleck of chipped paint was seen around the house after. Wonderful housekeeping. They even painted our doors with paint we provided separately. The finished product is beautiful.

All in all he did a great job and would highly recommend EAG to anyone.

We hired them after finding them on Angie's List. We were very happy with the work they did. I thought that the job itself was done relatively quickly and was well done. One week later, we noticed a crack in the window they had repaired. We believe that when the sun hit it directly, it may have caused the putty to crack. When we contacted them, they did say they would come back and repair it. However, they never did. We also had plans to hire them the next season for additional work, but they never contacted us. There were not many employees who spoke English and the owner, Edward Greim, did not like to make phone calls and preferred contact by email. His workers did work very hard and consistently. They did seem to have some trouble with customer relations.

EAG was competitively priced, and I have used him several times. The finished product looks nice. My concerns were the time spent to complete the work did not seem consistant with the work to be done. We had windows glazed, primed and two coats of paint in 1 1/2 days? Will this allow enough time for each process to dry? Time will tell if the work holds up. My second concern is my deposit was cashed 4-6 weeks before any paint work was performed. Perhaps this is normal, but I don't think so.

Couldn't have been more satisfied. Contractor (Mr. Edward Greim) very low key, polite and always agreeable. His work crews appeared on the job prior to 8 am but would not commence until exactly 8am. They worked as an effective, efficient team, to 6pm and never before 5pm.
Some other bids received were considerably higher and even then not as comprehensive. Consider it my good fortune to have engaged EAG painting. Am willing to be used as a refrence.. .

The job took about 2 weeks, start to finish, working around several wet days. Ed (the owner) was very thorough in his estimating and was quite willing to take on minor carpentry work that was required. The crew was industrious and tidy. We had asked for help removing two adjustable awnings. They were able to handle the smaller one, but could not manage the larger one which required some electrical work and heavier mechanical work. Ed pointed out some masonry problems with the chimney that will require a mason to work on stucco and/or grout before it can be painted. All in all, a better painting experience than several we have had in the past.

    Ed was a pleasure to work with, accommodating, and his crew were punctual and neat with their work. 
 They also did a very good job of cleaning  up everyday after they left, and went over and above to please.

I was very satisfied with their work. They did quality work for a very good price. I would rate them highly and would use them again in the future if necessary.

He is doing out exterior painting in stages while we are home. He is great to work with. He is always on time, he knows historic colors, and is knowledgeable in working with older homes.
