It took a while to schedule an appointment. And he does his work quickly. But the quality suffers.
He installed the service box utility panel seven degrees off center plumb. It was conspicuously crooked. I asked him to reinstall it to make it even. He said he would, He said that it would only take releasing 3 of the 4 bolts and pivoting it. However, as I later found, it took much more since the ground terminals had been driven into the wall backing. I left several messages with Dean. He never showed up to fix the problem. He didn't even have the courtesy to return my subsequent phone calls and e-mails after cashing my check.
I spend hours of my own time trying futilely to level the box. Without the specific tools to release the lugs for the ground it was impossible to adjust. Dean Russo promised to fix the box but never returned.
Dean Russo divides his time as a plumber and an electrician with, as he stated, a preference for doing plumbing. He also flips houses. He also owns a number of low income rental propery. He is in demand. He has a styish expensive white industrial van. However, I would not hire him again. His indifference toward his customers and preoccupation with affuence in disconcerting. The fact that he usess low wage migrant workers to do the tough work, (ie digging the trench for my aunt's probane generator supply line), concerns me a bit too. For those who may be concened, he also carries a hand gun, proportedly for protection in low income neigborhoods.
I will be using a more seasoned professional who specializes in electrical work only, and is more meticulous.
