Beautiful location near the mouth of the Mystic River (no bridges to Fishers Island Sound). Mix of power and sail with mostly sail on moorings. Decent basic land-side service (toilets, showers, washing machine, propane grills) but not luxurious (i.e. pools, tennis courts etc.) Launch service during season although service is not as good since Ron left. Usually good access to courtesy dock except when large transient boats tie up most of dock. Also, mooring fees go up significantly every year and yard demands 20% deposit on next year's mooring/slip fees it seems earlier every year. Deposit for 2007 was due Sept. 15, 2006 (even before the 2006 season is over). Although yard has significantly upgraded their repair service operation it can still be difficult or impossible to arrange for small jobs. They don't seem interested.
