Even though they didn?t end up doing any work, I was impressed by the fact that I wasn?t charged anything. Subsequent research let me know that the problem was VERY common on that year Accord, so I bought the appropriate replacement part and installed it myself.
Bob?s was my regular mechanic before that and after until I moved out of the area. However, that particular visit stands out in my mind?
On jobs that needed me to leave my car overnight, they offered a ride home, and a ride to come pick it up when it was finished. Their prices are fair, and they have never mis-lead me. In one case, they were working on my daughter-in-laws car, and it was really not worth fixing. It needed 600.00 in repairs. They strongly advised on replacing the car, and when she bought her new(er) car they became her mechanics of choice. Now, years later, even after she was no longer related to me, she still brings her cars to Bob's. Her new husband does as well.
