Our experience was positive, and the work was excellent. This is the first restoration company that did not bemoan the fact that repairs to our building can be challenging. It is part of the Stratfield Historical District, and we make every effort to preserve its original design. They expertly chose replacement tiles stockpiled for this purpose from the original construction; any new materials (gutters) match our existing ones. Very knowledgeable about period details.

The home that my family and I live in is in Greenwich , CT. Like many homes in New England, it had withstood its fair share of harsh winters. The roof , siding, and windows were becoming very worn and the home repairs that I had been putting off were finally necessary. A friend of mine recommended Yankee Restoration because they had been in business for so long in the area, and had a great rapport with the community. I contacted Jim at Yankee Restoration and he made an appointment to come see me immediately. He gave me a very fair quote and we got the ball rolling right away. They started with the roof and moved to the siding and windows from there. The people at Yankee were there on time every day , and were always polite and professional. The quality of work was a 10/10. For all of the work that was being done at my home, there was never any garbage or any scraps left on my lawn. They did their best to stay out of our way and let my family and I go about our daily business. The work was done remarkably fast , it only took 3 weeks for them to finish everything, and no quality was sacrificed. I was more than happy and satisfied with the work done by Yankee Restoration, and would highly recommend them to anyone in the area looking to get work done on their home.
