Bilked us out of 3500$ paid up front. Repeated calls yielded nothing but stalling and prevarication. Now considering small claims court.

Horrible. I paid the full price to have my trees trimmed in July 2023. I was told 2 weeks. Didn't happen. Everytime I called or texted I was told this week, this week. Never happened

I wasn't home while the work was being performed so this is based on what I saw of the results of the work. I felt that the price, compared to the other 7 companies I got quotes from, was fair, considering these were extremely tall trees that many other companies thought would require a crane in a very difficult-to-access location. I liked that they didn't try to up-sell me. In fact, I asked to have all 3 trees removed and it was their idea to possibly save the trees while still ensuring our safety. They understood, also, the different licensing and insurance that differentiates landscapers from tree service providers. The 2 improvements I would like to see in order to make the business more professional and up-to-date (from a customer service perspective) would be 1. updating business stationery with an accurate email address (I was asked to email something and the email on the business stationery/quote form was actually incorrect) and 2. being receptive to using email instead of calling me multiple times a day (and this not in reference to them needing any sort of immediate response/decision, but general information and correspondence) and stopping by my home unannounced, even during the evening.

Woodland Tree Care crew arrived first thing in the morning and reviewed the work to be done. They started promptly and I believe they only took a short break for lunch. By the end of the day, 95% of the work was complete and they began cleaning up. Their truck left some small holes in our yard and they filled them. They cleaned up 99% of the stray branches that fell during pruning, onto other trees or shrubs. (We found some in later days/weeks).
At the end of the day, however, they began the trimming of the two Spruce trees that are very close our house and deck. That work was a bit haphazard, and seemed rushed. They didn't bring ladders tall enough to reach the middle and tops of the trees (which are two stories tall); one of their men actually climbed up the inside of the trees to facilitate the pruning.
My recollection was, from the consultation we had with David Tovar at the time we requested the estimate, was that they would have ladders, and could also do the work by standing on our roof and deck. I felt like the pruning was quick and incomplete, as not all branches were trimmed. We called David Tovar. He returned our call promptly and explained that the pruning they did was correct, and if they did any further cutting it would make the trees susceptible to disease. We were then satisfied.

THEY ARE RELATIVELY RESPONSIVE, BUT SOMETIMES YOU HAVE TO REALLY BUG THEM. THEIR QUALITY OF WORK IS EXCELLENT. THEY ARE ARBORISTS, AND THEY KNOW WHAT THEY ARE DOING WITH TREES.

THIS COMPANY IS VERY PUNCTUAL and THE WORKERS ARE VERY POLITE. THEY CLEAN UP AFTERWARDS and DO A VERY GOOD JOB. THEY ARE VERY GOOD AT WHAT THEY DO and I HAVE FOUND THAT THEIR PRICING IS VERY COMPETITIVE.
