At the end of the day, however, they began the trimming of the two Spruce trees that are very close our house and deck. That work was a bit haphazard, and seemed rushed. They didn't bring ladders tall enough to reach the middle and tops of the trees (which are two stories tall); one of their men actually climbed up the inside of the trees to facilitate the pruning.
My recollection was, from the consultation we had with David Tovar at the time we requested the estimate, was that they would have ladders, and could also do the work by standing on our roof and deck. I felt like the pruning was quick and incomplete, as not all branches were trimmed. We called David Tovar. He returned our call promptly and explained that the pruning they did was correct, and if they did any further cutting it would make the trees susceptible to disease. We were then satisfied.
